I think it's such a beautiful thing to have a close relationship with your mom, that you thought to name your daughter partly after her. I did the same, thinking that I would have a close relationship with my mom, but it wasn't there from the start and it never happened. Now with dementia processing, it's a lost cause. You are truly blessed to have each other's support and friendship from the start, that's so important. God bless you.

I grew up with a mother who's very abusive psychologically, verbally and physically and I wish I had a relationship like you and your mother. I named my daughter after a Woman who lived a long time ago. She was known for helping people in need, feeding them and trying to get people on the right path. She was a strong believer. Her middle name is an „italian version“ of my mom’s first name, in honour of my late grandfather who sadly passed away when my mom was only 2 years old.

We have a movie about a little indigenous girl named Tainá, wich is also the movie's name, that I highly recommend.

I have a its a Scottish vintage name. I only met another with my name when working in childcare, and it definitely has a personality. They were very similar to me in so many ways, both when I was their age and now.
