- It felt like it was never going to happen but finally the time has come and Jerusalem drove Cleopatra and myself to the hospital. Now we are waiting for the little girl to arrive and just playing the waiting game. Cleopatra is doing well and is excitedly waiting for the birth of her little baby girl. We can’t wait for her to be born.

The overwhelming feelings and joy of becoming a parent compares to only one thing. The elation of becoming a Grandparent. Congratulations to the whole family on your bundle of joy. She is one very lucky little girl to have so many hands and hearts to welcome her and guide her through her life's journey.
oh no I've been both and yes becoming a grandparent was amazing but nothing could compare to becoming a parent for me. i had a lot of losses n taught I'd never give birth to a living child, we were told to stop trying then once we did we fell pregnant, still not without complications but she was alive and healthy, its all that mattered, hard to believe its 25 years ago now, our granddaughter is 6mts..
So very true,I have a three year old Granddaughter and everyone kept saying if you think you loved your girls wait till she arrives.Im so in love,happiest days of my life!

Good luck. Congratulations! You live with the best teacher as far as motherhood Cleopatra! I was 18 when I had my first baby and still lived with my parents. It will be amazing for you and your baby girl to grow up with your parents and siblings in the same house. My granddaughter is only 3 years younger than my youngest.
