- House tour 2024 is here! In this video I, Jenna Licciardo-Toivola "Jenna Devalen" take you on a tour of our apartment. I am beyond excited to finally show you our home furnished! We have lived in this 28 square meter minimalistic loft apartment for over two years now.

I love it all. From the entrance, to the kitchen, the dogs boxes,( all needs) , living room, efficient office, mirror, wall Art, , to the specific special pictures/ items, greenery, the patio, staircase lights ,to the upstairs bedroom ❤❤❤❤. Simple and fits both of you.

Jenna, I love your apartment. We call it a townhouse apartment here in the States. Yes, pollen is a job to keep up with on cars etc... but it brings us many green trees! ;)

3m brand hooks and velcro will help with hanging things without making holes. They have little ones for hanging string lights, and velcro ones for hanging pictures (you place each side of velcro one on the wall and one on the picture and then velcro together. You can unvelcro and change to a different picture etc. There are also ones that are metal looking that can be hanging hooks for coats or purses. Each hook is rated for the weight it can handle. I have some at work to hang my coat on the back of the door. There are also ones made for outside and can stand up to the weather. I use those for hanging christmas lights. You just have to clean the spot good before placing the hook. It even works on brick. Hopefully they are available there.
My wife's filming skills are so shaky 4:44 😂 Shaking ends at 5:04 (I wonder why) 😂 We are both laughing at it together as I comment! Very nice vibes though; still a great video!🥰

It takes time to figure out what it is that you want to do as decor. Myself, I prefer a minimalist way. I don't want just anything. It has to mean something to us. Like a love for nature. I have 2 paintings up. They were done by 2 of my friends. One reminds me of where I grew up and the other represents where I've lived for over 30 years. Both are of nature. I love how you have made the place your own. Well done hon.😊

I really love this minimalist mindset but it does intimidate me a bit. we have a trailer for four adults and my daughter whose 7, and trying to get them to downsize has proven difficult. i would loce if you guys did a GRWM or a day of what shopping or recycling is like there! im from Michigan and the thought of downsizing and adapting this lifestyle seems totally worth it! you guys seem soooo much happier!! you've definetely been missed! Hope to see more videos soon!

Here in the USA we have something called, command strips. They stick to the wall without putting holes in it. You can use them to hang, sting lights, photos and all kinds of things. They work pretty well and peel off when you’re done with them. Idk if you guys have anything like that there 🤷🏼♀️

You could put your lights in your bedroom around the perimeter of the baseboards just let them lie there along the floor for ambiance - would still be pretty! And you can buy colored bulbs maybe get a blue or green one, for softer lightin g for your lamp,- just some ideas! I love layout of this apartment. I believe they also make stick on renter friendly decals you could get to decorate maybe behind your bed or going up your stairs. The room devider is awesome too! It would be cool with some fake greenery draped over it as well,or fairy lights.😍

The terrace is really big. Maybe you should put some more in the living room like a tv or a book shell or something bling bling ❤

Peel & stick wallpaper or vinyl for a "headboard" ;) it sticks to the wall & is renter friendly & wont take up space!
Command strips work great. Just a humble suggest. Most of us understand, "bills". God bless you guys.

If I may suggest a ‘no holes’ hanging option is the 3M stick on hooks which work really well and are strong enough to hold frames , etc anything up to 5 kgs.
3M makes Velcro hooks and strips you can use to hang your pictures. I’ve never put holes in the walls.❤❤❤❤
You can use velcro strips to stick picture frames to the wall so you dont have to use a drill.

Such a cute home! Having a large home can be nice, but as with anything there are pros and cons. A smaller area means less junk, with means you can move easier. It means spending less on furnishings and on rent, which means you can save more and spend $ on experiences instead of stuff. A small home means less cleaning and more time to do things you really enjoy.

Jenna did you know you can get no nails wall hanging? They come in all different sizes and it’s like a little plastic slab with a hook on it and you have like a putty inside it which goes on the wall and with the plastic cover over the top with your hook on it to hang whatever you need. When it’s time to move you pull the putty and it unlocks the pressure holding the hook up no holes in the wall. The bigger the hook the more weight it holds. I don’t know if you can get them in Finland but here in Australia they are in every hardware store. The pictures you have on your wall look great but a nice wedding photo would be great. If you can’t find any in Finland I would be happy to send some from Australia.

Sugestion, in bathroom poit wooden board above washing mashine and net to sink, if its posible...and mirror above...
For decor just keep your eyes open and buy what speaks to you & makes you feel something. It takes a lifetime to collect pieces that are just you.
