Born in Clarendon grew in Canada since age 11, visit as often as possible… was staying in St Thomas in April/24, i was told the same story about the 2 Brothers fight for the land.. thanks for the explanation.🇯🇲🇨🇦
Alex, thank you for keeping it positive! Using this space to bring to the fore Jamaica's history is very educational and historical. You should be given recognition by the Jamaican Government for your contribution to national development.
Intreasting and informative indeed. Thank you for shearing, St Thomas is one of the parish i have never visited, the parish that my grandfather died, the parish that is on my bucket list to visit and explore its natural beauty, he was a fisherman and from St.Elizabeth.The tales surrounding the ponds are fascinating, the fighting between the two brothers over land are tales that are told throughout the the island. Thank you for the history. ❤
FROM Jamaica, I would like you to research from SDC about some plants that destroyed. One the camphor tree, and many more. These trees were in St Thomas. I would like you to speak about the lndignos plants. Not in Jamaica now, but still support .
I'm sending mad props for this video. I throroughly enjoyed it and I love the research you put into it. I know it couldn't have been easy. Your narrations was also perfection! The views good too yeah but I certainly learnt alot and feel like I have never really been to St. Thomas. I did History and never even heard of the Three finger Jack and many of the locarions mentioned here. Great job! Thanks for sharing, looking forward to more content !
@@EliteJamaica I've been having a whale with all of them, as soon as a new one pops up I'm watching. Hope your channel gets bigger and even more people will enjoy it.
I remember during holidays visiting my family in trinity ville... ...i remember mount thyder were we pick mangoes n bruke people cane.. catch common fowl aka chicken to run boat on the riverside with friends... i remember being at penny concerts n parties... i was trinity ville one n only michael jackson dancer... big up to all my friends n family in trinity ville nuff respect... cherrished these memories❤
Thank you, enjoyed going back in time through the early clips, from past videos. I first learned about the ponds from a video I'd watched, some years ago and was fascinated by the white frothiness on the water. I understand its called something or other, but can't think of it now. I finally got to see the pond from afar, a couple of years ago. Thank you for the history lessons. The tourist board needs to clean up those historic sites, and add them to their itinerary. History should never be forgotten.
