This vlog is ranked among my favourites. My bedroom was transformed into a lecture hall as I immersed myself into the presentation. Well done on a top-class presentation.
Wow, Jamaica never ceases to surprise 🫢! First off the bat is the extinct 🌋 site in Portland... now this site with deposits of volcanic rocks! Very intriguing indeed. I wonder if there might be a hidden thermal spring somewhere in the vicinity... 🤔 Interesting. Thank you for highlighting this piece of history.

You should do one in the plantain garden valley. So people can see the warm water. Schools would have trips in the 70s to the garden and mineral bath..
In the 1800s (19th century) the Mount Sinai property belonged to Charles Simeon Burke the son of the formerly enslaved William Burke . He also owned vast tracts of land in Llandewey, Airy Castle and Hopewell Hall. He was a butcher and cattle rancher. One ad in the Gleaner of his time contains an ad for the sale of a thousand head of cattle. There is also an official document online certifying that William lived from 1790 to 1910 - 120 years. His tombstone in Bath, St. Thomas states the same.
James 2:5-6 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? Christ is King 🗡 📖 ✝️ 🛡 👑
This made me think, a landslide caused this and the yallahs pond, seems like the area was possibly volcanic😅 I grew up near the pond, the walk before you get to the pond you see different color patches of water ,I just always wondered

The area eventually became part of a vast property known as Mount Sinai (Signy to the now deceased people from the area).

Alex you always feature some intriguing content I’ve never heard of before. 👍🏽

I’m thinking the color of the rocks is not consistent with volcano lava. I’m leaning more towards an earthquake.
