Im glad she came to be part of america,we are enriched with her beauty and talent!
Thanks for the kind words Jason West. The interview gal is my daughter, I'm the producer.
She is forever young and beautiful. What a nice interview....God bless y'all
One of the greatest tremolo exponents of all time -truly remarkable
I dont even see how playing like that is possible, and then she's so beautiful and sweet, and then that one pic towards the end...wow!
She plays so beautifully!
just found her via an Al Dimeola vid piazolla -absolutely great
I'm so impressed with her performance and skill not to mention tone quality of her instrument omg
A world class classical guitarist. Multilingual. Charming. Beautiful. Gracious. Isn't the world a wonderful place to have such people in it!
Perhaps I was wrong but I assumed she pronounced it that way because of American (US) influence, few Americans bother to pronounce things correctly. I usually equate it to a lack of knowledge,
I think Ana Vidovic (I KNOW the 'c' is a ch) is a brilliant guitarist, & even though there must be someone who could fault her, I certainly can't. Everything I've seen her play, I love, even her childhood performance. Her artistic talent is impeccable. Doviđenja!
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Love the photo of her playing the guitar when it was bigger than her.
I've been watching videos of her performances for a couple years now. This is the first interview. It's not surprising to hear that there was so much music in her family. One of my favorite things about watching her play, is the joy she seems to feel. A very musical family is one thing definitely one way that happens.
*My primary inspiration right here.*
Such a beautiful and humble lady she just raps herself around the guitar it's like an extension of her and her her Aura is awesome
She is so talented and one of best guitarist ever. She is my favorite.
Just saw her play Sat. night 9/21/2013 in Baltimore. The woman is fantastic. Can't wait to go to see her again.
Marvelous ! xxxxxxx
beautiful soul...
That's some difficult yesterday. Very difficult.
Yup.
Phenomenal talent....I would love to see her record 2 or 3 CDs worth of Beatles tunes in the classical guitar style. I discovered this young lady by accident and I am just in awe of her musicianship.
Sadly, she has not. But this particular piece is arranged by Tōru Takemitsu who has done a few arrangements of Beatles songs. Also her recording of Tears in Heaven is arranged by Per-Olov Kindgren who has some more arrangements of Beatles etc.
She is a Queen of the music. God save the Queen
Such talent packed with beauty.
A wonderful version of a wonderful song
So awesome!
so lovely instruction
She is so lovely and agradable! :3
A great interview, The tremolo a good way, and her intepretation, is better.
OH MY!!! SHE'S SO BEAUTIFUL AND GORGEOUS!!
Essa mulher maravilhosa faz maravilha com o violão!
IMHO, the greatest guitarist possibly of all time.
When are you coming to Asia !
A kako sam cuo more u onoj maloj uvali na Puntizeli u tvojoj muzici, nikako da objasnim. Maestrice ! Strunaj...
I love how ana plays hunched over. All the greats break some kind of "rule".
Felicitaciones.
What's that first part she's playin?
Virtuosa y hermosa...
Tremolo with p- m-i-a => damn! never thougt of it! I'll try it out! Thx Ana!
@iaplminute The context of her language is Croatian, English is a 2nd language for her. The delay is a mental transfer from the Croatian to the English. Delays in thought or language transferrence often results in delay, delays are sometimes filled with vocalizations such as umm, or perhaps repeating phrasology much like a stutter. It is involuntary but can be overcome if working with a speech therapist.
How many languages can you master after three years? And does she need to speak perfectly your language in order to understand her music?I think you are the one in need for a therapist..
I love her gone ........... how she met interesting!
what is the last piece she plays ?
We just saw her, you'll love her performance. Enjoy!
Awesome ... her plug & language too ... talented ya ..
Her arrangement of "Yesterday" is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have EVER heard.
@tammas789
That's not true. P - thumb, I - index f., M - middle f., A - ring f. She said that you can play the tremolo part with ami fingers or mim fingers and she plays it with mim. Sorry, but I don't see you point here...
rain1ny is being clever! He's plugging the electric guitar maker.
Ana Vidovic plays a Jim Redgate lattice top, unless she's had a sudden change of heart. It's is a modern design based on the Greg Smallman original innovation. Externally, the headstock and rosette are the giveaway.
Hours and hours and hours and hours of practice. Beauty.
What´s the piece she´s playing at the beginning of the video?
Quien fuera terapista y guitarrista
Yes please! San Diego also would be so nice.
You are a great guitars . All the best. John Aurgemma

where she learn toplay like that??
At home
what's the song from the beginning?
Como se llama la primera obra con que inicia el video ?
@SrGreeneyed
Such harsh words! Maybe she's just nervous. Ana Vidovic is an accomplished world class guitarist... Hell, I'd be nervous too! And besides, it's soo easy to rip someone apart in a youtube comment, isn't it.
Wich is the last piece she'd played?
me to
How is the name of the song that she plays in the minute 2:24?
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yesterday_(Beatles_song)
The headstock on her guitar reminds me of something reminiscent from Transformers.
She is absolutely wonderful as well :)
Dear Santa..
@scrollandkey its a redgate
wow, p-m-i-m tremolo technique for Alhambra. Sound awesome, but isn't supposed to be harder to play than the usual p-a-m-i pattern? Why does she use it anyway?
I don't mind if a guitarist doesn't know how to speak spanish, as long as she knows how to play guitar.
???
@benjamin lemair- I’m going out on a limb here but i think he was trying to joke on the fact that she’s playing a Spanish classical guitar.
Is your picture Gustavo Cerati
it's like the same but different Her pronunciation of tarrega and alhambra is wrong, which is kinda funny if you think of it.
Lot's of practicing!!!!
That version of yesterday was just.... Wow.....
"okay, okay"
"mhm"
"yeah"
yesterday- beatles :P
You speak any foreign language? Holy there are people who have been in US for 3 decades and still you can tell the heavy accents......
wee tiene algo dentro e la guitarra?? 6:40
Its the prelude from the superb lute suite BWV 1006 :)
Es un año más grande que yo pero si me pide matrimonio acepto
@rain1ny :)
i googled it and it doesn't seem to be it.....
I'm not sure but I think Ana was doing Sungha Jung's arrangement of 'Yesterday.' Fantastic.
This makes me realize just how good I'm not!
Comment of the decade 🤣🤣
That's the most beautiful "Yesterday" i've ever heard
It's incredible, isn' it?
exactly my thoughts
Yes . She has some beautiful middle voices in there. And basslines....
I almost cried listening to it. Not sure why
Watch yiay
I follow Ana Vidovic presentations here in TH-cam at many time. It's always a pleasure could hear this extraordinary guitarist.
I just discovered Ana; and I am so happy I did. I love this beautiful; soothing, and spiritual music. She is wonderful. I live here in Texas; so I am hoping Ana will soon come to San Antonio.
Me as well.
@@pocoapoco2 Me three! San Antonio would love to have Ana play for us. At the Majestic perhaps?
Na ANA tudo é agradável e belo, até a voz e a presença, a elegância, o ar simpático e o sorriso e as mãos. O Abraço de Lisboa em 02.04.2020, no reino do covid19.
The third piece Ana plays is the Bouree from JS Bach's Lute Suite No. 4 in E Major BMV 1006a
I really like her playing, her touch and tempo is amazing. I know I will never even get close to this standard.
Don't say that, it is definitely possible if you are really dedicated love the guitar and if you practice enough! You can
Please don't say that. What if you continue playing and you discover one day you are even better than her? I have seen it happen before. Never ever underestimate yourself.
Enjoyed VERY MUCH. Thank you ANA. CHEERS
LOVE Ana Vidovic!
You're probably right. She clearly has a good relationship with her roots and her family. :)
Thanks for the upload!
It's always nice to see Ana!

What a woman, just baffling. Imagine being the guy sitting on a porch hearing her play when you're both old and grey.
Where can I get the music for that version of yesterday? I had the good fortune of seeing Ana live and she is one of the best players I've heard. Very sensitive touch and interpretation.
It’s Ana’s arrangement. Ive never seen a published transcript
Nice interview. Looking forward to seeing Ana play in Riverside, CA in October.
Ana is truly a rare gem! If I had three wishes the first would be to have her as a teacher, the second would be to have her as a teacher and the third would be........ to have her as a teacher!
