Every single one of her live performances on TH-cam are interrupted by someone who doesn't have some basic level of etiquette. Shocking how some people can't switch off their phones. She's such an amazing performer she deserves more appreciation and respect.

It's probably the person whose silhouette crosses the screen at 0:17 .. First you come in late, then you cough, then your phone rings! What's next, you trip and somehow fall onto the stage and knock over the microphone?
My new life ambition is to go to an Ana Vidovic performance with bongo drums and start banging away when she plays the cathedral. Just to fit in with the crowd of course...
1:02 someone dropped something, 1:20 cough, 1:32 cellphone ringing, 1:38 another cough, 3:12 another dropping, 3:19 and beyond, more coughs. I'm aware that without the audience there would be no concerts, and there's quite a joy to share a place with people knowing that they are enjoying as same as you. Even the mix between the audience's little noises and the music creates quite an atmosphere that cannot be compared with a studio record. Nevertheless, a little "concert etiquette" its always welcome.
That drop at 1:02 clearly distracted her. Look at her expression after.

I don't believe I've ever heard this piece so well enunciated in a live performance. Every line flows so effortlessly. Barrios was rather a genius in composition, and Ana Vidovic demonstrates it beautifully.
Imo, she is the best guitarist in the world right now. ❤️😎

First of all, Ana is one of the most inspiring musicians I’ve ever watched, her song selection is fascinating not to mention her grace on the instrument. She deserves much more respect during her concerts. It’s frustrating beyond belief to watch videos of her being disrespected in concert. It’s like she’s being forced to cast her pearls before swine. Lord have Mercy

She plays with such style and expression, which demonstrates her love of the guitar. I not only like listening, but enjoy watching her deliberate pauses! She is really wonderful.
I've only recently heard Mangore's pieces. Beautiful. Anna is incredible.
She's a talented musician and all, but did you notice how she DIDN'T murder the guy with the phone? That's true discipline.

This is maybe her best performance of La Catedral. Her dressing in white seems appropriate for this moment. Never have I heard a more honest interpretation of this music. Bravo, Ana!

So as a guitar player (amateur) I have always loved this piece since I was introduced to it in the 2001 anime Hellsing. The last part in particular just absolutely floors me with it’s beauty and the skill required to execute it flawlessly.
Seeing it played live like this is a real treat. Ana here covered it perfectly and really made it her own in the process. What she does playfully toying with the tempo at times might go unheard to the untrained ear, but I myself loved her interpretation.
That’s one thing I’ve always particularly loved when playing solo. It gives you the freedom to really get creative with the timing. Whereas playing with others requires you to be mindful of them at all times

Nothing compares to a live performance, despite the noises absent on a studio record.
She plays so seamless, so effortless. And with her, there are (almost) no annoying sliding noises! Many guitarists do not care or even show off with them demonstrating how fast and technically difficult the piece is and how virtuosos they are - but I am bothered with those no musical sounds. Thanks Ana!

Today I heard some versions of Catedral played by other guitarists. I liked many of them but my favorite remains Ana Vidović's. Ana found a unique balance between technique and the reflective and introspective feeling of the music. I don't know how she did it, but it's my favorite interpretation.

How performers can keep calm in situations like these is beyond me. Just as much as the fact that some people can let their phone ring for a solid half minute in such a situation.

What an amazing artist (and person). Finally had the privilege of hearing her live at the Ventura Music Festival last weekend. An experience I'll happily never forget.
I don't generally cough, but I took the precaution of taking a cough drop before the concert started and during intermission... just for insurance. For those who do... prophylaxis cough drops might really help you suppress the urge, and it'll make getting to hear Ana Vidovic (and other wonderful artists) live an even more fantastic experience for you and for others as well.

i think the coughing / phone rining / noice making people get used to do this in some performances with louder volume, like full scale concert for large piece of symphony, Rock start music concert or even night club bumbum disco, they can 'easily' hide whatever is inappropriate. as blunt as they will get, these people never realize how quiet background single classical guitar performance needs. well, with this recording, I am glad that these mannerless people are amplified and being a 'topic' here, other than Ana's devine performance. this reminds myself to be a more descipline audience at all times as well.
