A Popular Spot to Pee!

While working at the school I'd walk this cutline almost daily. My dog would pee in the exact same spot every single time. I always just assumed she could smell something that I couldn’t. It wasn’t until we started using trail cameras that I realized it wasn’t just dogs who were interested in this spot. I’ve got more than several photos/videos showing different species smelling, investigating, and even peeing on it. From coyotes to bears, deer and moose, and even a pine marten have all been attracted to this spot. I still don’t know what makes it so special, but it is neat to see all the different visitors. This compilation features various coyotes over an eight-month span all relieving themselves in the same spot.

Yup, but I've also caught wolves, fox, and marten all peeing here too. I'll have to dig those up and post them all in a series.
