Would You Drink From This Puddle?
มุมมอง 2974 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
It never ceases to amaze me what animals will drink out of. In this case, there's this stagnant muddy puddle, but just a short walk from this location is a small lake with much cleaner water. I guess if you're thirsty enough, anything will do.
A Big Buck and a Small Buck Visit the Lick Branch
มุมมอง 3521 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
This big buck visited the lick branch during a very early October morning and gave it a good thrashing. Following closely is a much smaller buck who only smells the branch. He doesn't even attempt to scent-mark it.
Moose Cow and Calf Inspecting My Camera
มุมมอง 79วันที่ผ่านมา
I like this series of photos. First you'll see the moose calf out in front but then mom stops to inspect my camera so the calf stops as well. It appears that mom wasn't too keen on what she smelled as she decides to reverse course. Not having much of a choice, the calf turns around and follows its mother in the opposite direction.
Facebook of the Forest
มุมมอง 7014 วันที่ผ่านมา
A bachelor herd of three bucks gathering at the lick branch. A friend of mine who is a Wildlife Biologist with Parks Canada calls lick branches and rub trees the 'Facebook of the Forest' and I couldn't agree more with that reference.
A Young Pair of Spiker Bucks
มุมมอง 10014 วันที่ผ่านมา
A pair of young spiker bucks out on a mid-morning stroll. They are likely looking for a nice place to graze but they are always on the lookout for predators.
A Young White-Tail Buck Investigating the Lick Branch
มุมมอง 2814 วันที่ผ่านมา
A curious young buck investigating the lick branch in the small clearing. Regardless of size, almost all bucks that come though this area will stop to smell, lick, and/or rub themselves all over this one branch.
White-Tail Bachelor Herd at the Lick Branch
มุมมอง 10021 วันที่ผ่านมา
Here we have three bucks spending time in the small clearing together and scent-marking on the lick branch. Typically, White-Tail bucks are generally solitary creatures but it's not uncommon for them to form bachelor herds, which might be what was happening here.
Grizzly Bear Siblings
มุมมอง 14821 วันที่ผ่านมา
It had been almost 4 years since I last captured a pair of Grizzlies on camera. At that time I surmised that the pair had likely just left their mother and were exploring the world on their own for the first time. Grizzly siblings can spend one or two years together after separating from their mother and have been reported to den together the first year they're on their own. I would suspect tha...
Wet Black Bear
มุมมอง 11721 วันที่ผ่านมา
I have a feeling that the bear captured in a still image that I shared as a post (www.youtube.com/@GhostTrailCams/community) and the the bear in this video clip are the same bear. The photo was captured at 10:15am. The bear in the photograph is headed in the direction of this camera where the video clip was captured. At 10:42am the bear passes by the next camera looking pretty wet. It likely wo...
A Stealthy Cougar on the Prowl
มุมมอง 13121 วันที่ผ่านมา
I like this video because you can see how well a Cougar blends in with its surroundings. As the cat gets farther away from the camera it becomes fairly camouflaged with the grass and surrounding vegetation. It's easy to see why they are such stealthy predators.
A Skunk Making Its Early Morning Rounds
มุมมอง 1121 วันที่ผ่านมา
Did you know that after a skunk sprays, it can take between 10 to 12 days to replenish their supply? It's true, the natural production of their stinky spray is a relatively slow process.
No Trespassing Black Bear

Either this bear can't read or he just doesn't care!
One Very Uniquely-Coloured Black Bear
มุมมอง 78721 วันที่ผ่านมา
This Black Bear has a really unique colouration on its coat. It looks to be mostly blonde, with distinct black patches on its head and lower front legs. There's also an odd bald-looking patch on this bear's rump. I'm not sure if this is partly due to shedding its winter coat or something else altogether. What do you think it could be? Whatever it is, this is one distinctive looking bear.

❤❤❤❤❤❤
Where is this located?
This was in the Ghost Wilderness area in Alberta.
genetic mutation ???
It is my understanding that the variations in colour are the same as in humans, different melanin levels as determined by genetics. Black Bears can be black, brown, cinnamon, blonde, and even grey.
Love when they get up so close to the camera! 🥰
Yeah, me too...as long as they don't mess with the cameras! 🤣
@@GhostTrailCams lol. Oh they will! Bears are funny. The worst for us was actually a crow!
@@lorettaandjasonoffgrid a crow?? That's a new one. I've had a squirrel shake the ever-loving hell out of a camera once and I caught the whole ordeal on video.
@@GhostTrailCams yes and I was quite tucked off at the bugger. It was an awesome new solar camera. Crow pecked and pecked and pulled for hours. I got a lot of footage. The camera fell into the snow and as we were not there for a few weeks the snow eventually melted and the camera fell into the foot of water off the bank. Uggh! Only really cool thing we saw was from above. The camera fell face up. Captured an amazing Great Blue Heron chasing a crow. I hope he got hi. Hahaha! Really was more upset because I know for a fact a bunch of wolves went through after finding a dead moose about 50' away. Not cool crow!
@@lorettaandjasonoffgrid Wow! That's quite the aggressive behaviour for a crow...and the camera had quite the adventure of its own. Well I hope that doesn't happen again and ideally another wolf pack moves through so you can capture them on camera the second time around.
Absolutely incredible! What luck! Poor guy sure was trying!
Oh he was very determined! He's also a pretty big bull, especially for this area, so I am thinking he was able to mate at some point.
Very cool!
Yeah I thought so too! Thanks!
Dude this was 2012
yup, sure was! The content on this page comes from an educational trail camera project I was running with students. The project dates back to 2012 and I am now sharing the best content that was captured over the years.
@@GhostTrailCams oh so thats why all the dates are from so long ago!
@@JagerMaister_Gaming Yup, exactly! I'm working my way up to the most current content.
Where’s the grizzly bear?
This Grizzly was photographed in Alberta's Rocky Mountains.
Super filmik
Thank you!
Another one that just goes to show- deer ( and most every other animal) do whatever they feel like doing whenever they feel like doing it. Either one of those deer could have cleared the top of the fence with nearly zero effort on their part. Seen em do it a thousand times. People today try to put human emotions and thought processes in animal heads these days 😂 Thanks for the video. More of these detached people today should watch it
Thanks Max! Yup, deer and other wild critters pretty much do what they want, when they want to.

Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoy my new videos that I will be uploading daily.
서로 먹히지말고 새도 토끼도 늑대도 다 살아나가야 하는데 사료를 줄수도 없고😂
You're right, it's good practice not to feed any wild animals. It's best to let them hunt, scavenge, and forage for food on their own.
💕Wow💚💚💚💚💚💜💚
It's pretty impressive, isn't it.
Ouch. The calf was not quite sure to begin with. Glad it recovered.
Yeah definitely. It was very unsure how to proceed. I'm glad it gained the skills to keep up with its mom.
Magnificent animals.
Yes, they certainly are. I'm lucky to be catching so many moose on my cameras. If you're interested please see my moose playlist for all the clips.
Dude Their Rut was in oktober
Yup, I know and that’s exactly when this video was captured. Check the date at the bottom of the video.
Love it, when I get two!!
First and only time for me. I've captured solo skunks a few times, but never two together like this.
That second deer is like "whoah, magic."
Hahahaha yeah, it doesn't even try to follow!
Just playing. They run and buck around.
Yeah, good point. I thought of that too but wasn't sure.
Super Pozdrawiam
Thanks!
I'm in Central Alberta and filmed a coyote months ago with the same injured paw. Cool vid txs for sharing. Cheers
It always amazes me how tough and resilient these creatures can be. Hopefully both critters made a full recovery.
Super filmik
Thanks!
Congratulations!!!
Thank you! It was definitely a highlight...and it wasn't the last time catching a Lynx on camera. More videos coming soon.
What animal is that in the first few seconds of the video ? It looks like a ferret.
You're right, it does look like a ferret. It's an American Marten (sometimes called a Pine Marten) and they're part of the same family (Mustelids) as ferrets. They're pretty common around these parts, but aren't seen very often as they are pretty secretive creatures.
@@GhostTrailCams Thanks!
