Quality isn't "bad" on these videos, if they're easy for you to make and allow you to show us more variety in the devices you fix then that's fine. A possible issue I can see is that they probably won't get as many views. I'm subscribed so I'll watch them but yeah. Correction before posting comment: I wasn't subscribed, just getting consistent recommendations, but now I am
0:25 it doesn’t damage that type of screen, but it will leave permanent marks in Amoleds and certain IPS panels. Still, it will definetly ruin the oleophobic coating on every kind of touchscreen display. If you plan to reuse the display module, try applying less heat concentrated in the area you’re working or invest in a bigger heat pad 👍🏼
@@kjelltol943 that too! But a few years ago I left my iPhone 6 on top of my grill by mistake. The LCD was mostly intact (just a bit yellowed) but if I ran my finger top to bottom it would get stuck and leave residue where the grill rack made contact with the glass. That way I knew the coating was damaged.
Your repairing is OP! I wish i knew how to do stuff like u Even i have a lotta surface problems My surface seems to be damaged.. the screen works but when u turn it on it shows the windows sign then turns off we tried multiple things but it seems to be damaged from the inside..
You are such a good TH-camr your vids are so informative, you inspre me too learn about phone stuff from you, and you also teach me the problems of Phones and solutions of the problems. Keep up The Great Work 👍😁
I do like this style video. That is the exact computer that I have for work. The display jitters and there is a column on the right that just doesn’t work for touch.
Pretty decent repair, I should say. Microsoft replaced the broken surface completely for free, did it 3 times for some of my customers. Don't know, though, the requirements and what were the circumstances. Keep up the nice work!
I actually had a Surface Pro 4, used it from 2017 until 2019 when the screen broke. Ended up receiving a replacement unit and used that until May 2021 when it stopped working suddenly. I ended up buying a Dell laptop in June 2021.
I had a surface pro 4 back when it was new, and in 2017 just out of its warranty the charging port died. I wish I knew then how to replace it. I sold it online for $100 :/
At our repair shop we always charge for a new WiFi flex as well because you are almost always prone to damage it when getting it open. Also a heat plate is your best friend when doing this 😁
I’m petty fan of the way that fix things, but I guess that your best providers works most of them on apple things and idk but to me is stressful trying with another providers when you start to fix another devices, don’t you think?
Did the new screen (digitizer + LCD) come with new ribbon / flex cables? What did you do with the new but defective screen? What is the small PCB you removed from the original screen called?
What’s the small orange piece sticking out on the top right before you open the screen? Part of a ribbon cable or something? Mine has the same things sticking out, but no problems so far.
Lemme know if I should make more of these, Ik the quality is bad but they're really easy for me to make lol. Hope Y'all had a good weekend
Hello how is your day my mans

@@JulianSauco Aah rip :(( Yeah had a heating mistake while welding at work one day such a shame making such mistakes
@@JulianSauco they sell little containers of coatings that you can apply to the screen in case something like that happens again
I’m better with a heat gun than a heating pad..

Can you do a step by step on screen disassembling?
Man said that was easy 😭
Also, do you get a refund for those defective screens from your supplier?
I hope so
I enjoy the short style sometimes and but if you go that route maybe do one or two a week
I like them keep going!

At least no serialization on the screen, like Apple

How much do you make being a phone repairer and how much does it cost to start because I really want to get into repair but don’t know all that stuff
