    That was awesome! It's cool to see similar saws of different brands go head to head. It's also interesting to see how similar timing numbers between the brands produce such similar results.

    I have a modified/ported Jonsered 2165 that is the red brother of that 365 and it cuts far faster than any other 65/66cc saw I've ever used. Cuts circles around a brand new 2172 x torq. In my opinion it's the best all around saw I've ever owned.

    • @tinmanssaws
      @tinmanssaws  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep them 65cc saws are very good ported. Love my 365!! It would be faster if it was red for sure!!

    Love the 365 special Husqvarna I'm on my second one! I can't even tell you how many trees that I put on the ground with that saw on how many cords of firewood that's been cut!The first one I had I had it in the front and loader one day and it bounced out of the bucket and I hit it with the bush hog. So sad I still have the Saw for parts. Surprisingly there's a few pieces left, including the cylinder and piston and the crank case are still all intact so I can reuse those parts if wear out my cylinder I think.

  • @rncboy2
    @rncboy2 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    You have gotten the bore and stroke backwards on the last 2 saws the bore of last saw is 48mm and the stroke is 36mm you did have that one and the other saw backwards. Those setups would be interesting though a 36mm bore with a 48mm stroke or a 34mm bore and a 46mm stroke or 48 witchever it was. That would make for a very interesting chainsaw lol love ya buddy and the videos keep them a coming right along doing a dang good job!

    Great vid keep doing these shootout vids and give us as many details as you can I would have liked to known the difference in the carbs on the 266 vs the jred I'm just in detail like that love ya buddy

    • @82f100swb
      @82f100swb 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The early 266 used the early which is the same as older 61'sand the 162. Later saws 84-85ish got the HS224 which is a bigger carb. The same things happened on the Jonny's, I believe the original carb was the HS218. I will have to have a look at my saws.

    I can tell you from experience, go and give the sachs dolmar a dual port muffler. It will pull much harder and will go faster too. They really like to breath. Also they like a wider exhaust port than others, but don't go far (that shouldn't be anything I have to tell you of course).

    Dolmar 120 Super has 68cc and 4.8HP
    Dolmar 120 has 62cc and 4,2 HP
    They are Torquemonsters with 100deg Ex time , i think a 98 would be good for a bit more RPM.
