- Fall in Colorado is a bucket list must-do, so it’s time to pack up for a Colorado road trip! The changing of the leaves is by far the prettiest time of the year in the Mile High state and in this video we explore Maroon Bells, Grizzly Reservoir, Big B's Orchard, Independence Pass and Aspen. Come see why it’s nicknamed “Colorful Colorado”!

I would go with some all wheel or 4x4 to not be limited where you want to go. As for the foliage, that varies greatly based on altitude but the area around Aspen, which has some of the lushest aspen “groves” Colorado has to offer, I found late September to usually be the best time to photograph. Again, this can change if they get an early snow storm, etc. 🤷🏼♂️ It’s Colorado... anything goes weather-wise ☀️❄️🏔
