- Our 'Grand Circle' trip covered 3 states, 6 National Parks, and 1,452 miles. We had all of our campsites reserved months before we left, rented a RV, and set out to hike and explore.

I'm from Utah and I almost take these things for granted sometimes, it really is amazing. If you ever go back to Zions, I would recommend the Narrows as a good hike. You hike up the river into a canyon and the further up you get, the closer the canyon grows and the less people there are. There was a point where we found a rock to jump off into a really deep part of the river and you can go up so far, it is really fun. What a cool trip!

That seems to be the most american trip ever.
I am an Australian that back in 2018 had a Canadian working holiday visa (so basically I could work in Canada). I sometimes watched this channel (still do) for star wars content. I felt I should comment that this video inspired me to plan out a similar road trip, took a little more time (3 weeks) and went a little further. Consider this a thank you.
For reference
Vegas, Zion (Angels landing + subway), Bryce (peek a boo), Capitol Reef (multiple short hikes), Arches, Canyonlands, Natural Bridges monument, Mesa Verde, Santa Fe (Meow Wolf), El Malpais monument (Lava tube trail?), Grand Canyon south (Horseshoe Mesa but not 100% sure, went down and up 1,000 feet same day), Page (kayaked to the back of Antelope Canyon, no people but no light beams either), St. George, Vegas.
Most of my friends then departed, but my girlfriend and I did Death Valley and Mojave desert preserve on our own after having done the above loop.
Wow, I have always wanted to go on a trip like that, the scenery is breath taking!
I appreciated this video. It's good to actually learn more about your favourite TH-camrs and their life's, although I love all the Star Wars content, it's lovely to see this type of thing! Keep being you Greedo, and I'll keep coming back. Awesome vid, glad you had a great vacation. :-))

Thanks for sharing your experience Greedo, watching this made me feel happy inside. Reminded me of my favorite vacation when I was kid going through the Badlands, seeing devil's tower, traveling the Midwest. Makes me want to go on this trip in the future.

My parents took us kids out west multiple times when we were young. Some of the most beautiful things you'll ever see!

My family and i went on a trip to Zion, King's, Bryce, and the Grand Canyon about 4 years back. It was amazing. I must recommend Yosemite and Sequoia National Park in California. It is beautiful.
I'll keep that in mind! I think our next big trip is going to be Denali National Park in Alaska. That'll probably happen in the distant future though. Baby on the way!
How about Yosemite? Always go there in the summer and never fails to impress me at how beautiful and peaceful it is

i drove from North Carolina and did this along with death valley and all the northern states like idaho, montana, the dakotas and so on. spent 27 days doing it and i have never had so much fun in my life, though i did feel alone as it was a solo trip lol
I took almost this exact trip with my parents when I was 14. One of the best trips of my life!

Exploring is the best. I'm sure you'll take your daughter rough camping. When my daughter was small, we would rough camp. cook over an open fire, no electricity. Kids love that and it's very cool to see how they keep themselves occupied without electronics. Great video although I have a craving for a beer...
I did this exact loop myself, solo, back in 2009. An epic road trip. Some thing I will have for the Rest of my life.

Awesome video and trip man! I took a similar trip to all the national parks you went to in Utah a couple years back. I recognized all the things you were talking about, even ate at the same pie place in Capitol Reef! Great to hear another huge star wars fan talk about national parks, Glad you and your wife had such a great time there too.
This was incredibly helpful, more so than any other RV travel video of the area u have watched!!
We just returned from this trip! Prior to going, I didn't even really look up any Grand Circle trips from the past, but instead I just made a map and then later found out that it was almost identical to said trip. One difference that we did that is really close and really spectacular is to head to Durango after Moab and ride the Narrow Gauge Railroad steam train from Durango to either Silverton or Cascade Canyon. It was amazing! Also, you get the bonus of Mesa Verde (the Cliff Dwellers) and Four Corners.

I live in southern Utah and I cannot express how much awesome your choice to do OP over angels is. It is by far, the best hike in a park full of epic hikes.
I didn’t think I would end up watching the whole video but I did and each place became a little bit nicer than the last. I’m not usually into the “deserty”, rocky places but this looks like an awesome trip! The fact you went to the same bar your dad did some 40 years ago must have been a trippy experience. Thanks for sharing man.

Wonderful trip! My family did a Grand Circle with my family, going to Zion to Bryce to Lower Antelope and finished in the Grand Canyon. It was the best trip I ever took in my entire life, and inspired me to become a National Park Ranger. We had a few days in each park we visited, so got to do a ton of trails. Zion is my personal favorite, however I do want to go back to the Grand Canyon one day to do the Rim to Rim trail.

So glad you were able to check out Utah! Seriously all of those hikes are amazing, ESPECIALLY arches. Next time you go, you need to check out Goblin Valley! The rock formations are amazing and there are quite a few hikes you can go on!
Good for you Greedo. My dream trip would be to go and visit every single national park in America. We have such a beautiful country and, even though I have such a long time from when I would inevitably die, I don’t want to feel like I missed out on anything, like so many people seem to do.

We did a national park tour of California in 2016. We're doing a Rocky Mountain road trip version of that this year. So much fun.
I did this exact trip (but in reverse) with my geology class back in college. We went to a few more spots than you but it took us 15 days to complete. Its definitely one of the best in the world! Great vid man!
Not hiked for years but want to get back into it this year. Walked the West Highland Way a few times when I was younger. I had fun camping out with my mates having a few beers after a full days walking. Not sure I could do 92 miles in four days now though. Maybe do it over a week. Great video Greddo really enjoyed it. You took some awesome pictures.

Colorado is a great suggestion and if you like Moab try Ouray Colorado. It's Moab minus about 90%. Much quieter, much nicer, much easier to get around.
I love your channel man! I'm a native Utahn. I go to Zion at least once a year! Fantastic place! If you go back, I recommend Angel's Landing, but it's always busy, and kinda scary haha! We hike the Narrows every time though! It's great once your feet get numb to the cold water. Also gotta watch your flash flood warnings on that one.

Now that’s an experience I’m desperately wanting to experience literally going through the mighty 5 national parks of Utah and monument valley, antelope canyon, horseshoe bend and Grand Canyon seems like a perfect luxury go to experience plus that would be a photography paradise for me if only it were to actually happen one day

I went to the Grand Canyon in 2016. Lucky for me, it was a part of the canyon visited by few. It was great.
Just came across this planning our trip around the Grand Circle in the fall. You gave some great advice. Think we’ll stop at the northern rim, if possible, to avoid larger groups of people. Canceling our Disney World vacation for that reason, and making this an adults trip only. We’re from the Gulf Coast, looking forward to the change of scenery.
I'm English,14, and have been to Vegas, The Grand Canyon and Monument Valley. They were amazing, by far the best trip I have ever been on. Makes me wish I live in America. I went in the exact spot at Monument Valley where Forest Gump was filmed and where you went. That feels so weird. I stayed on both the North and South rim of the Grand Canyon and the North Rim is way better. Quieter and surprisingly green. So glad I went on it.

No way! I did a smaller loop with Vegas, the grand canyon, antelope, bryce, and zion at THE SAME TIME!! It was amazing, Zion was my favorite since it had a change of scenery from everything else with greenery everywhere.
EDIT: I also may have seen you since I saw that same RV at Bryce!
