For all of you saying shit about this truck not being under 20k. There's plenty of trucks under 20k high mileage like he said but under 20k just because you don't live somewhere, where they sell them under 20k it doesn't mean it isn't true.
I watched the full video, and I get the point he is trying to make. I did a Nationwide search online and as of today, there are only 19 examples of a Raptor for sale under $20 grand. Although, technically, he is correct that one can be bought for that price, it is not fair to showcase one almost twice the price. He should have actually reviewed one that is selling for under 20 grand or change the title to under $35k.
I purchased a 2010, 6.2l with 83k miles back in November. Its fully equipped with touchscreen navigation, Sony soundsystem and badge delete with the actual quintessential raptor launch color.. MOLTEN ORANGE! With matching orange interior. I'm getting 13.6 avg mpg and pretty much daily drive it. I paid $26,401 after fees.
@Park Lee Studios you can really find them, ive seen some, just be patient and look all over the place, you’ll probably find one out of town for a great price
I recently bought a 2011 raptor svt, for $31k had 115k miles but it came with a pile of service records from the 1st/original owner. Literally, she didn’t every single thing the mechanic recommended! Her husband was a surgeon and she spared no expense! Instead of rebuilding the shocks, she replaced them at 110k miles. I paid probably $3k more than I normally would have for peace of mind and I figured that knowing everything about the truck was worth it. She drove mostly highway miles and never once took it off roasting (she was in her late 50’s). Ultimately, I decided to be ok with a high mileage raptor since the engines are built so well. It also averages 13.7, which is quite impressive considering I drive aggressive with my new Corsa Exhaust. I figure I can drive this for 10+ Years and sell it for at least $20k with 200k miles so to me, it was worth it. Not to mention insurance and registration are much cheaper than the newer raptors. $300 or so for two year registration and $120/month for full coverage! One other thing I did was have the Ford dealership completely inspect the truck... the technician said it was the cleanest raptor engine he had ever seen! Not one leak and was in great shape. Overall, best purchase I’ve ever made!!!
Just got a 2014 Raptor with only 37k miles , tuxedo black , paid 49k ! I know it’s a lot , but I’m extremely happy with my purchase and it’s very hard to find one with low miles and in great condition. Puts a smile on my face every time I get in it 😀
Indeed. I have a white one. Knock on wood it’s pretty damn reliable. Just hit 134k miles and replaced a water pump but because i left it sitting for like 3 months :| my mistake. Also while i was down there I replaced the belt tensioner. This thing is SOLID.
I acquired a 2012 with 86,000 miles on it. Put some money into it and it’s solid truck. Quick enough for me, sounds great and looks great at 12 years old. 6.2 for life!
if you can find one for under $20k, then you found a diamond in a goat's ass. They just don't go for that unless it's high 100k plus miles or wrecked. For those who say you can, like I said 200kl miles or wrecked. You can find just about anything you look hard and deep long enough. But this is a rare, rare, rare case. Nice job on this one.

Ford going to Turbos in Raptor was a Choice to Stay within CAFE standards but they should have keep the 6.2L as an OPTION!!! This "click bait" title thing you're doing lately is getting old. Cloth seats are not an option, only available for border patrol/govt. You've said in the past that your truck doesn't ride smooth yet you somewhat contradict that in this video. My own personal peeve, that sunroof cover is very easy to move. Either you're weak, at a bad angle while filming or there's something wrong with that one. My last comment as an audio enthusiast...... in all honesty that radio is actually very good. It might be slightly slow because we're use to faster times now, but aside from the atrocious color and the lack of having to most up to date apps, it's probably the best one of the 3 Sync systems. Built in hard drive for music storage, USB, Bluetooth (audio, hands free) DVD/CD I will admit though, the factory sub is a bit lacking.
Mike Green Your "personal peeve" seems to be going against Ben Hardy's opinion, that being said you can't really validly gripe about that because it was just his opinion
