Not a bad tip, thanks friend. There is also some balance beads you can put inside the tire when mounting. They roll around inside as the tire rolls making counter balance. They work pretty well with most things. Just to add to this
Balance beads don't work nearly as well as actual balancing. They tend to fling outside from centrifugal force and then stay put, making the tire balance worse.

@@mitchhifi9192they are typically used on off road tires that often get mud and stuff on the that changes the balance. they are itty bitty bitty glass beads and there are hundreds of them. They do work. My source is that I’m ASE certified in steering and suspension
My dad used to balance propellers for his rc planes mounting them between razors in their holes and shave the prop to spec. Thats how i learned this with wheels etc in general. R.I.P

Can you do another video that shows the lead weight placement a little better? Maybe do some close-ups before and after you apply the weights and rotate the wheel? Thanks
the lead weights this guy shows are special made for balancing wheels, they stick on the rim with some kind of sticker foam stuff. all u got to do is clean the place where de weight have to go, cut the number of weights u need off the strip, remove the cover of the sticker and place it on the rim
As a Karting driver this is heavily impractical as you change tires like ever 50 to 100 miles lol. If not less depending on the tire compound and series.
Dint you literally have to make sure the floor and table are level before u even do this. Without doing that itll prob still work as long ur in the ballpark of weights it needs though.
When I worked at a tire shop, i was told that it is completely wrong to place wheel weights at 2 different position on one side of a wheel. Idk if this is right or wrong but I’ve seen guys fired for doing this.

I balanced my motorcycle tires with 2 jack stands and a ratchet extension, it worked good

Hey brother. Wherever the wheel settles, go exactly 180 degrees to the top of the wheel and put your weight. Retest and then repeat if need be.

For the kart wheels, it does not seem necessary. A lot of people dont seem to balance them at all.
