I'm making a racing game and for it I'm making a "Wheel_Assembler".. I would need to know thickness are the flanges, and width of flanges, PCD of wheels used in karting and the ET. Its more of a matter of calibration of photos from Image Modeler to Blender. When I have an accurately 3D modelled wheel with track and wheelbase on all 4 wheels I can then accurately scale the photo matched calibration of photos to the 3D model so the scale of the photo is perfect to the micro millimeter. (I'm doing things with precission because if you are a bit wrong here and a bit there, it then adds up and the 3D model of the vehicle isn't accurate)

Hi, can I use a drill for screwing my wheels on and off and if so what drill number should I have it one?

Hey Max, you could if they were loose already, then you could whizz them off with the drill. same for doing up, use the drill and then hand tighten to finish. use max torque setting for the drill I would suppose

I’ve got a DeWalt DCF885 single speed (155nm rated) impact driver, should I avoid using it on my wheel nuts?

yeah 155 is a bit high boss. maybe just use a tee bar or socket set

How important is decreasing rotating mass. I’m building am electric go kart and i’m using a belt drive system. The only pulley I could find was solid steel and weighs 10 kg. I could drill a bunch of holes in it to get it down to 2-3 kg. Is this necessary?

Its very important, and adding 10kg to the drive will slow it down alot. My tonykart and engine only weighs about 90kg total to put that into context. Fit a sprocket to the motor and use a standard chain drive if possible.

when it comes to acceleration performance, lighter is always better. but if your not racing it, maybe its not so critical.
