Bluegrass Roots Exhibit on Jerry Garcia

Daviess County Fiscal Court has announced a series of grants for downtown arts organizations.
One of the projects is a Bluegrass roots exhibit on Jerry Garcia, the lead guitarist and vocalist of the Grateful Dead.
Executive Director Chris Joslin and Museum Curator Carly Smith share their excitement for the project at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum.

I always loved bluegrass since I heard it played by Lester and Earl
On the Beverly Hillbilly’s, also by the Dillards on Mayberry RFD. It was Jerry playing it that really helped me get into playing the genre. I’m not great, but I play and sing every week at a jam session. Love it. Thanks Jerry!
