Hello! I’m so glad that you reviewed this pattern. I made it last year because I also love the silhouette but it’s incredibly uncomfortable! I find that it’s not fitted enough and the bust cup seam is actually higher than my natural under bust so it’s always riding up. I definitely want to make another because it’s so feminine and gorgeous but it absolutely needs some serious alterations!

I believe McCalls Misses sewing pattern are drafted for a B cup, which is why you were having fit issues. This pattern is kinda tricky, but for other patterns a full bust adjustment may be better than sizing up completely. Thanks for doing this pattern review! I’ve seen Brandi post about it but haven’t seen anyone give feedback.
Oh interesting, I haven't done a McCalls Misses sewing pattern specifically before so I'll definitely keep that in mind in the future! Thanks for your insight, I'm only in my second year of sewing so love getting new info from experienced sewists/seamstresses. Thanks so much for watching :)
@@CaitMakes My body type is a lot curvier than most standard patterning models, and I usually measure at least 3 different garment sizes over my bust, waist, and hips, so I feel your confusion and frustration! Learning how to grade patterns to fit your body measurements, as well as how to do a full bust pattern adjustment, made a HUGE difference to how well my garments fit me straight off the sewing machine. These days I usually only need to do minor adjustments to fit, rather than taking in inches or, worse, trying to figure out how to add some in! It might seem a bit daunting at first, but it's well worth the investment if you're up for it :)
