Can´t believe that some people think that Mozart was tired when he wrote this. It´s as inventive and imaginative as anything he wrote.

Her notes are so clear and distinct. Mozart piano concerto at its purest.
Listening to the concert makes me wonder how the pianist has put her heart and soul into the performance bringing Mozart's interpretation alive to all of us.

Luckily for me James Wood references this concerto in a May 29, 2023 New Yorker article. For listeners unfamiliar with Mozart’s subtleties the article and concerto are pure gold.

Now the best one here, a glorious pianist - but I miss Paul Badura-Skodas Larghetto...
The best orchestra in the second movement is by Karl Bohm with the Wiener Philarmoniker....
@@enricochestri Thank you - yes Karl Bohm and Wiener Philharmonics are great - however, Emil Gilels has chosen, in my opinion, a too slow tempo for the Larghetto, - my favourite rendition remains: Paul Badura-Skoda. He recorded Mozart also together with David Oistrakh (King of Violinists) - for instance: Mozart 6 variations on Helas, j'ai perdue mon Amant
