I have the 123x and it does bi directions tests programming and all if it had blutooth im pretty sure keys even just have to know how to get to those settings its a little confusing i programmed a transmission with it so hell 140$ paid for itself day one plus 35 for the vehicle

Yes, Regen for sure - replacement you’ll need to check for your specific vehicle. Volkswagen / Audi is a yes.

I have the crp123x after the update I cannot use it because it does not find any vins including obd! Do I need internet to use it?
No, you don't need Internet to use it. Only for updates.
