Yes ,it would be a good purchase from what i have seen . I have owned 3 of the vehicles you 2 have over the years an changed engines an transmissions in them. The convenience of clearing the check engine light is great. I was a auto zone customer for many years. It depends on how much your going to use it . Thanks jerry .
I think most folks can get by with a $30-$40 code reader. Some connect to your phone and some have a small screen. As you go up in price your able to scan more modules. The really expensive ones can deep dive into each module and pull internal data, activate certain features, calibrate things, etc... People should buy based on what they need. Autel in a good brand. I keep a AL329 in the glove box. No phone needed. Just plug in and it's got it's own screen.
Launch are really good yes key needs to be on they are pretty easy to walk through u need to connect to intertnet and update it too like every 3 mount or so
It does not have an internal battery. The one you have is great for the price. All the stuff is different control modules that are in your car. You should go to each one and read the codes in each control module. You can't mess up anything with your car while using that scanner.
What are the paid features in this device? They are available in the store/mall. For example: Full function: Audi: $62 Sprinter $41 Mazda: $41 I asked the manufacturer but he couldn't answer this question :D:D

Anything 1996 and up has to have an OBD2 port in the vehicle.

This one does that, that’s why I would tap on Car info..
Pulling codes from an ODB1 car is definitely cheaper, but so slow and a pain.
Hey Jerry how do diodes affect agm batteries
? Oh yeah, it has an instruction manual!😂
Some car brands u have to buy a year subscription
I need an OBD 1. It is not the voltage. Take it off the sensor.
