Thanks for this one, Blaine! People are all the time talking about how to tell if your someone likes you, but so rarely about how to tell if they don’t!
In the past couple of years, I've had two girls act uninterested, have me stop texting/approaching, then act angry with me when _I stop_ making an effort. One of them was one I was just texting. She complained to me that we hadn't been out on a date, as if I never tried, and I ended up writing her a (condescending) paragraph explaining that I asked her out two times, she said no, and that's what made me stop interacting with her. The other one would tell me to my face she liked me, but constantly refused to meetup. The former really made me hate texting. I think from now on I'm going to do mostly phone calls.
what angers and upsets me about guys always having to do the approaching, is that its guys, men, are the only gender that can screw up or mess up an interaction that makes the other person feel uncomfortable, get labeled weird or creepy, because i know this has happend to me and i'm sure tons of other guys, is that when we get labeled weird or creepy, accidentally make the woman feel uncomfortable, it makes us feel like a social retard, makes us feel very stupid. It no doubt makes many of us say to ourselves, why can't it be common sense to know what is creepy and weird, and what is not. I'm sure it makes tons of us guys, men, feel like a social retard when that happens, if we accidentally scare or creep the woman out, and even if us guys, men, do get better at approaching, having better interactions, attracting women, the scars or wounds, the pains of all those approaches or interactions gone awkward or horribly wrong, can remain forever permanent, that we sadly never forget them.
I know no woman likes me. Hence why i've been single for 31 years encounting. I have never been in a relationship, and never once even taken a woman on one simple date. dating just is not worth it this day and age and i'm done trying.
@@dagrizzla6252 I've tried starting out hanging out, talk a little bit, overtime ask them out and nothing. I have given up on the dating game. I Had one girl I really want to date, but she wants to keep me in the dreaded friendzone, so I finally walked away from her and haven't really done any contact with her.

Having been in the position of sensing that a girl wants to wrap up a date early, what are some good ways to politely bring it to a halt? Maybe I’m answering my own question here, but I was thinking something to the effect of, “Hey listen, I really need to get going. It was really nice meeting/talking to you. I’ll stay here and take care of the bill.”
If you’re having drinks or dinner.. You can say, “let’s just finish the meal or the drinks then we better get going.. I have an appointment (later/tomorrow) that I need to prepare for.” You can ask her if she has a schedule too.. (if the woman is not interested and you notice she has been wrapping up already she will definitely agree, and say her excuse too) Then, just say in the end.. “It was nice meeting you, thanks for the time.“

Women are so weird. I had this Co-worker that I thought we had so much in common that I asked her out and flat out rejected me. ONCE the cashier 2 doors next to our business that we were working started to go out with me, this trick really was trying to get back in my life and was like wanting to sabotage my relationship with my new woman I was dating. It was like some switch went off. I was so confused because I really was digging her but I moved on. Her chance came and she didn't took it. I couldn't go back. Eventually I had to quit that job because she was becoming toxic at work.
How much do these answers change if it's my ex? We dated for 5 years and I'm willing to wait as long as it takes. But it's hard to tell how she feels after we've been broken up for 8 months
It is so hard because sometimes you’re trying to invest to talk to people, but they make you pay for it when you shouldn’t need to pay for it
