I look forward to your video on confidence as too many dating coaches do not explain what confidence actually is.

Blaine; Excellent presentation! Since I cannot rely on my looks, I do not spend time on dating sites. Instead, I face the "Fear of Rejection" by approaching women in person. Thank you!

I was hoping this video would give me advice on what habits to maintain to stay single.
    1. Get a gaming PC and get on that Steam life.
    2. Make enough money to support awesome hobbies but not too much to appear like a catch.
    3. Warhammer 40k!
    4. Spend time alone in the woods.
    5. Go to the gym
    6. Raise chickens
    7. Get your Ham Radio license
    8. Move at least an hour outside of major cities. Farther is better.
    9. Buy land.
    10. Prep

Approach one woman a day? This must be a a geographic thing. Even living in the Denver area this is close to impossible.

    • @eragon2262
      @eragon2262 ปีที่แล้ว +2

It's definitely not impossible. I live in Grand junction and that's possible. You just have to go out places. It doesn't mean you have to ask them on a date but just approach them and say that they're pretty or something give them a compliment. I think the biggest point is getting used to talking to women and being comfortable about it

Thanks, Blaine. I needed to hear that. Much love 🙏
I think the fear of rejection gets to me a bit too much. I've been told many times that I'm handsome, but I guess my problem is that I self sabotage myself on dates.
I'm not sure how to stop this, but I feel like it has to do with past trauma.

next time a girls says this to me in an interaction, conversation, while asking her out, because i know that sometimes women will say this, just so they can be sure, they will sometimes say "are you asking me out?", i would say to her:
'DUH!!!!!!, OF COURSE I'M ASKING YOU OUT, I'M A GUY!!!!, ITS WHAT WE DO!!!!!!', i feel that will make me feel good about myself for saying a rude asshole response, just expressing sarcasm in a resentful way, because i know i'm not the only guy in the world that has always hated and resented how asking someone out has always been and probably forever will be on the mans shoulders, being the one to make the first move, make advances and start interactions, be an interesting conversationalist, ive always been a fan of the belief that men need to be better talkers, be a better conversationalist than women do in order to be successful at dating have better social skills than women do overall, escalate things, take the god damn lead all the time.
its another reminder, and i know people will say to never compare ourselves to others, don't worry about what others don't have to do or deal with, focus on you, but i get annoyed and enraged that there are even dating coaches for women, because i will never understand why would women need help on how to attract men when they don't have to be the ones to pursue, or approach, take any action on their part, that doesn't require any jackshit of skills, doesn't require any learning, any behavior development. Ya i will never understand and it makes me laugh and cringe when people say women need skills to do well in dating on their part, how? just exist and be pretty is not a skill, because being beautiful is not a skill since its not behavior based.

The one about unrealistic expectations is right on target. Its not just that in itself, but people prioritizing petty and superficial things over what should really matter. I appreciate 'girl next door' or 'common folk/middle class' beauty over the typical 'cover model' type. You can call it reverse discrimination if you want to, but I tend to be suspicious of and not inclined to pursue the latter.

Its not just rejection thats an issue its how one is rejected. Ive been called ugly and a creep. That is a recurring theme so there must be truth to it.

I understand that. I've been single for 31 years. never had a girlfriend, never taken a girl on a simple date. Every single time i've tried asking women out, they tell me i'm ugly and not attractive enough to date them. I've hit the point of quitting trying to find a girl to date.

I just continue to have a hard time getting over the amazing lack of burden or accountability that women have when it comes to this whole “approaching” phase. A guy must approach women daily however women do not, and frankly it seems, should not have to approach men…ever. Maybe it’s in part because that’s how things have always been or because of the numbers game of dating, but it baffles me every time. Women taking risks?! NO! Men taking risks?! Yes! Please take all of them! And women seem glad to have it that way.

I think the general problem for handsome men is that women don't typically prioritize good looks in a man over other attributes whereas us men definitely want someone decent looking in addition to whatever else we actually want. Basically handsome men are then drawing from a smaller pool than anyone else. Then the additional trouble is that those good looking women get so much attention that many of them become somewhat complexed by it.
Thing is, I think that looks is often equating to health and health is certainly important when considering a long term relationship. For me obesity or smoking or excessive drugs or drinking are non starters.

Being physically attractive _and_ smart while not getting the results I want, in high school was so demoralizing. I just wish I would've woken up from the Niceguy trance earlier, because the earlier I would've stopped, the sooner I would've been working to improve things. I'm almost 25 and I'm not getting any younger.

LOL I'm 48 man, and figuring this stuff out. My biggest fumble was thinking my looks was the be all end all. I'm 5'6" bald and 140 lbs. Once I got my head out of my you know what, things got better. I started taking better care, standing up straight, and started to tell myself I wasn't a loser. I'm getting attention now that I never thought possible. Everyone is different though. You got time to figure it out. Just don't procrastinate. Good luck!

Blaine, 10/10 - is not 9/10. Everyone has their own 10/10-s they are not universal. What for one man is 10/10, for other men may, and likely to be 6/10...
