    I'm the author. This is, by far, the best explainer video I've seen on Mini Habits to date! Awesome job, and I'm glad you like my book! I'll be sharing it with my readers. Cheers!

      "Thank you for sharing," I say to the voice that says "I don't want to." Then I do it; happening more and more.

    lao tzu said " A journey of a thousand miles is a single step." this quote and the theory go hand in hand habits are done by what you find is sucessful and if you truly. Believe you can do something know by making small goals you start to change by small habits this creates confidence for yourself. Every starts with a single step the question is are you ready to do it yourself.

    One of my bad habits is watching TH-cam videos like this. Regarding sport I find that collective sports work better for me. My tennis partners always plan ahead for the next match. That way I get two games a week. Running and press ups are too easy to avoid.

    @Productivitygame your books that you given to the real focus is awesome I have subscribed also I too love reading so far the books you have introduced also in my radar. I will give this a read even if you gave the meaning towards the book but I still love the video style and productivity you do towards your videos. I have subscribed but in my opinion people that only watch videos, is not enough the core message is inside the book that tells the whole story this is my opinion but would love to talk mono on mono on your productivity.

    The flaw in the little habits logic is the assumption that one pushup takes one tenth the effort of ten pushups. While doing JUST one pushup seems like a "tiny habit", it also involves clearing a spot on the floor, getting in position, getting past feeling too tired to do a pushup, and all of these other efforts that, while may seem trivial, seem to add up. It's the same with the other book and the flossing one tooth. Find the floss, tear off the right size piece, wanting to go to sleep because you are doing this before bedtime. Those are a lot of habits to form.

    Mini Habits noooooo, read his new book called Elastic Habits. It's like Mini Habits but 1000x better! Believe me!

    • @saikumar6216
      @saikumar6216 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Really?

    • @MiniHabitsOfficial
      @MiniHabitsOfficial 4 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      @@saikumar6216 Yes. Elastic Habits is the future of habit formation strategies. It's so far ahead of the current "small steps" trend that Mini Habits started (which is just now reaching full force) that I'm not sure the market is even ready for it. But fully flexible habits as presented in Elastic Habits are many times better than mini habits or any other small habit strategy.
      Don't get me wrong. Small step habit strategies remain very effective (mini habits changed my life, I can't knock them), but elastic habits have taken me to the next level because of their (upward) flexibility.
      Cheers,
      Stephen Guise (author of Mini Habits and Elastic Habits)

      @@MiniHabitsOfficial Yes! I did like Mini Habits but couldn't apply for every aspect of my life. But Elastic Habits I can! The vertical and horizontal flexibility blows my mind! I think it's the best book I've read in my life. Thank you for writing this golden mine book.

    • @MiniHabitsOfficial
      @MiniHabitsOfficial 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I recommend a maximum of four mini habits. I (and many others) do best with 3. Given their small size, you can pursue multiple at once, but at around 4 habits, the "mini" benefit starts to lose out to the sheer number of things you have to do.

    Great I gave the same advice to people and didn't know it was a book. I tell people do five push ups and see what happens. Because when people have to go home and then to the gym they usually end up on the couch watching crap.
    Cold showers yeah I don't think so. That is nonsense.
