So glad I found this video. I found an original GSXR 1100 exhaust system that was removed by the dealer and stowed away on a shelf for decades. I've been staring at it and the mounting hard wondering how I will juggle everything.
Hey Danny, once again you've shared a good tip with the header collars(a lil silicon/tape). I typically have used a touch of axle grease on the header gaskets to hold them in place(like you said it all burns off)! Cool
Yea mate that’s good mail going back to those standard headers a genuine 4 into 2 then a 2 into 1 original Suzuki exhaust end is restricted but those standard headers are good for low down & midrange torque , you probably know with the standard system you crack it open at 6000 and it stands up easy , with bigger headers even with air filter & carb jetting it struggles to do it , aftermarket big dia headers are good for revs at top end but when do you need to to go over 260 - 270 s. 👊
