YES YES ABSOLUTELY! The Law is necessary so we can understand we can NEVER KEEP THE LAW, THAT WE ARE SINFUL WRETCHED HUMANS AND WE NEED A SAVIOR. So many people pay attention to the Law for the wrong reason.
HE CAME TO FULFILL THE LAW NOT TO ABOLISHED IT! NO ONE HAS EVER LIVED OUT THE LAW PERFECTLY LIKE YESHUA. Through the LAW and YESHUA WE SEE OUR NEED FOR HIM.
If anyone wants wisdom and understanding let him ask God who is GRACIOUS AND MERCIFUL AND HE WILL GIVE IT TO YOU. If you don’t understand your Bible PRAY FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT TO COME TEACH YOU! HE WILL COME AND ITS AMAZING!

@@falloutman565 If we see our need for Yeshua through not keeping the law, doesn't that underscore the fact that the law is good to show us what sin is and a standard for conduct? Paul is very clear with that. Rom 7:7. I don't know quite what you mean, but many say because we cannot keep the law perfectly, then it isn't that important, just the grace we receive from God. Both are important however. Looking into the perfect law of liberty (through the eyes of love) and not being a forgetful hearer is important, but ultimately, we will not keep it perfectly, so that is not the way to salvation. It is the just the way to sanctification, or having Christ formed in us as Paul says in Gal 4:19. The amount of fruit we bear as a christian is a result of Christ living in us. God's mind outlined the law to Ancient Israel, but as Christ expounded it in the Sermon on the Mount, it just prescriptions for God's love and justice in a carnal society. The real purpose behind it is love.

Yes. Very good- took you a while to get to it in this video, but it was excellent and worth the wait. As a Gentile Believer, I have always found this passage to be kind of demeaning and mildly irritating. It worked out well, but I couldn’t understand why he was referring to her as a “dog”. Seemed to go so against everything he was representing himself to be and the things he was teaching about love and the respect he was showing women. It was so incongruous to me.

Jesus was not insulting her ethnicity but recognized the Canaanite woman’s bold request and audacious persistence as indications that God was giving her the faith to believe her daughter could be delivered if she sought help from Jesus. It was in response to that recognition, inspired by the woman’s reply to his challenge, that Jesus acted to heal the daughter, giving an advance glimpse of how his influence would soon extend beyond the borders of Israel.

    • @billsmith147

This is a great point you make. Disgusted with Catholic Oral Traditions that have nothing to do with God's Written Word. Christ warned us all of disobeying His Fathers Commands in favor or human man made traditions.
These include traditions such as, beads, scapulars, holy water, lighting candles, praying to saints to intercede with the Father for them, anti-scriptural doctrines composed by man, worshipping of the Blessed Mother and other superstitions developed by the Church during its 2000 year history.
*Despite going against the religious culture of His day, Jesus made a distinction between the laws Moses wrote down and the Oral Law (traditions). He did not give them equal weight but instead alluded to the fact that some of the Oral Law was merely the "traditions of men" (Mark 7:8) According to Jesus this unwritten Oral Law that existed in His day was not from His Father at Mount Sinai but from human religious zeal*
And sadly these traditions were superseding His Father original commands. Christ was totally disgusted with the Pharisees, consider, what He said to them in (Mark 7:6-9) *Well did Isaiah prophesy about you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me; In vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines human precepts You disregard God’s commandment but cling to human tradition*
*Christ went on to say, “How well you have set aside the commandment of God in order to uphold your tradition*
(source of Scriptural quotes, Catholic New American Bible (NAB)

There is a lie that satan has you ensnared in. The lie is that you have to carry guilt and shame for your sin. God asks us to repent and come unto Him so that he can forgive us and cover us with His blood. He asks you to say yes to Him, the God of all creation, and to receive the blessings and gifts He has for you. Satan would have you weighed down in bondage and never be free. You are free to receive the gift Jesus gives but you have to say yes to Him. Satan is lying to you and it begins by realizing that you have agreed with that lie and breaking it off through the power of Christ. I'm praying for you. 🙏

The truth in her searching for a savior unselfish and humble. She was not of same tradition of beliefs, yet she found him in her heart with the most humble and sincere love that turned into salvation perhaps or justified healing that was perhaps the best offering she could give. I would think she was awe struck at the result and was so thankful her love of God became great.

After you become born again and a new creature in Christ, if you don't forgive yourself as Jesus forgave you and gave you eternal life, it's like you just got out of prison, but went back to the prison, took off the door and strapped it to your back, to carry that prison door around with you all the time.
When Jesus saved you out of the prison of sin and bondage, He wanted you to be free from all the burdens and weight of your sins. He is Risen and has set you free! 🙏🙏🙏📖📖📖📖📖💜💜💜💜😇
I will share Mark 7 with my son, who is in prison and is having trouble forgiving himself after repenting and surrendering his life to Jesus. He is in perpetual repentance mode, so I told him this analogy of the prison door. I will have him watch all your excellent videos when he gets out. Thank you so much Brandon! I learn so much from you, which blesses my walk with Jesus in a fuller and more beautiful way. Many blessings to you!🙏🙏🙏📖📖📖💜💜💜😇

Thank you so much for your awesome teaching. I have also pondered on why Jesus reacted the way He did with the woman.
What you said about the religious traditions, is exactly what the Greek Orthodox practise - I know because I'm Greek, however I'm 'born again' and attend the Greek Evangelical Church. I often argue with my family, which is of priesthood origins. I ask my Mother why she does or believes a certain thing and she answers by saying, 'That is what we have been taught'... Usually she doesn't even know 'why', but she does it anyway! I can't believe what I hear most of the time!!!

O-M-Goodness! Your explanation about the Law cleared so much up for me. For example, even just beginning with the fact that Jesus was criticizing the oral traditions the Pharisees were placing more importance on than scripture, not the Law itself, etc......You do such an awesome job of explaining just the necessary details, as well as details I've never heard elsewhere, for me to understand what's been hidden from me for YEARS in the scriptures! I like how you include scriptures too! And, I finally connected having learned about myself first, that you can't run on emotions to truly love and serve. Jesus also said until heaven and earth pass, not one tittle of the law will perish. Basically Jesus was the final atonement for our sins, no more blood sacrifices required as his blood covers it all. But we have been falsely taught laws were done away with. The Bible is one book.

Definitely being 100% Gentile in my ancestry… Much of my family springing from the Arctic Circle on the island of Senja, Norway, without a doubt descended from marauding Vikings, I still was struck with belief when I first heard the name of Jesus. I knew he was real. I believed in him instantly. And it reminds me so much of a quote of Christian apologist CS Lewis (where the character Aslan symbolized Christ):
“They say Aslan is on the move- perhaps has already landed."
And now a very curious thing happened. None of the children knew who Aslan was any more than you do; but the moment the Beaver had spoken these words everyone felt quite different.
Perhaps it has sometimes happened to you in a dream that someone says something which you don't understand but in the dream it feels as if it has some enormous meaning- either a terrifying one which turns the whole dream into a nightmare or else a lovely meaning too lovely to put into words, which makes the dream so beautiful that you remember it all your life and are always wishing you could get into that dream again.
It was like that now. At the name of Aslan each one of the children felt something jump in its inside. Edmund felt a sensation of mysterious horror. Peter felt suddenly brave and adventurous. Susan felt as if some delicious smell or some delightful strain of music had just floated by her. And Lucy got the feeling you have when you wake up in the morning and realize that it is the beginning of the holidays or the beginning of summer.”
C.S. Lewis, “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” (Chronicles of Narnia)

St. Mark 7:27 Says, And Jesus said to her " let the children be fist filled: for it is not right to take the children's bread, and throw it out to the dogs. Mark 7:28 The woman said to Him " Yes my Lord, even the dogs eat the crumbles under the tables. I will pray for you to learn the truth. Also, Jesus worshiped His Father on Saturday. I was already on the right track with this, and you helped me solidify my understanding so thank you. Jesus did say that he came only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel, so this was a situation where he was making an exception because the woman showed humility that plenty of Israelites didn't have.
It can be a bit confusing at times because the English translation can sometimes use the same word for nearly opposite contexts, such as when Jesus said: "Cast not your pearls before swine or your precious stones before *dogs* , for the one will trample you underfoot and the other will turn about and devour you." Jesus here is basically telling his disciples to practice discernment when sharing wisdom, because not everybody is going to appreciate it and some will turn on you for it. These words are referring to people of a certain mind-set, where the verse you're talking about is referring to the Gentiles as those who have been disowned by God and not part of his family (yet) like Israel.
