So many great parts that arent in this. "There's an animal now" all fire on a squirrel on a stump. "It's only a squirrel", "he's got something in his hands!" commence fire on squirrel. I love the line too from Pratt after the fire when Leslie Edwards questions "you do realize your woman was made of straw?" and Pratt responds "yeah... I figured why thats why she burned so easy".
When this movie aired on tv, me and my brother watched it one night when my parents were out and were able to stay up past our bed time. We were screaming laughter literally rolling on the floor lmaoing. Especially when they unleashed all of their ammunition on a log because there was a squirrel on it after hearing horror stories of animals of the frontier mauling eager explorers in the woods. "The flies were there before".
Hunt: There's some discontent among the men. Edwards: It's our first night in camp. How is there already discontent? Hunt: Half the men find you cold and distant; the other half feel that the initial high-minded ideals of this journey have been abandoned for quick profit.
Not the best of Farley's movies, but definitely good for "Farley humor". It's an underrated movie, but it was also his last, so it lives in Farley fan lore.
Andrew Smith almost heroes is his last starring role and dirty work was his last role ever would have loved to see him in grown ups and i now pronounce you Chuck and Larry
I'd have to say everything Higgins said was comedic gold. His brother story or when he answered Hidalgo. Because her hair is more beautiful than yours, and your jealous.....priceless considering they all was about to meet certain death. Classic!
im usually hard to please when it comes to movies; comedies in general but this movie is in my top 5 comedy movies list. it makes me laugh so hard everytime i watch it. its a freaking classic right up there with movies like airplane, naked gun etc.
Damn, man.. I just sat here laughing my ass off at these clips, then reading the comments and laughing again at some other memorable parts for a good while, then got really bummed out.. Chris Farley is irreplaceable... you are sorely missed, man.
Not his best work but Tommy boy should be remembered as a comic masterpiece imo. Huge natural comedic talent, I can't watch a second of Matt Foley without rolling in laughter.
"EEENOUGH!!!!! DO YOU WANT MY HEAD TO EXPLODE?!! IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND DECENT, NO MORE FOR TODAY!!!!" AHAHAHHAAHHA can't stop laughing shit!!!
hilarious movie. i loved Pratt, and Biddwell and Hunt and Edwards, gosh i loved them all. it was so funny. lol when he was trying to teach him to read i about crapped my pants
wen farley grabs the droppings of the buffalo and smells them, then says, "the buffalo are near." then the other guy says, "nice, you can tell how far they are from smelling the droppings." then farley says, "no, i can see them." then the other guy says, "then how come you are smelling the..." snif* snif* lmao
8:45 that facial expression has kept my family rolling on the floor for years! You also forgot the part when Mr. Hunt was talking about the animals, the part when they were looking at Guy Fontenot and Shaquinna through the telescope, and when Mr. Hunt was smelling the buffalo shit. Then I'd say it's complete.
"Sir, there's an old saying.....white water in the morning" - Pratt
What's the rest of the saying?
@@elykspuz6596 That's it
Man do I miss that laugh. He had a one of a kind laugh.
, this is the funniest movie that I've ever seen I've watched it since 99 and it never gets tiring
I remember first watching it with my Grandfather when I was a kid. Im 30 now and, STILL laughing at this movie
I’m 30. And this has been the only movie to make me cry laughing since seeing this in 99. Still watching this movie. Never gets old
I love the look on his face when the bird comes.
When he’s trying to contact Bidwell later on through his ear is hilarious.
the dad from american pie as the frenchman was hilarious. lol...."Good God Lady!"
Holy shit...after all of these years, I never noticed that was him!
Eugene Levy* he's been around since the 80s Lol in tons of comedies, and you only know him as "the dad from American pie" you ingrate
Matt R. Eugene Levy is an underrated comedy genius.
"ENOUGH, YOU WANT MY HEAD TO EXPLODE?!?!" ROFL omg. I love this movie, so many classic moments.
Agree completely, when I first saw this my friend and I couldn't stop laughing.
"And to be completely honest,, Sir, I have no brother. It was me! I ate sheep shit!" -Higgins

"Don't you know anymore God damn tunes?!"
I wish someone would upload more of Pratt, the part where he's starving and starts eating his straw gf lmao
Fucking hilarity
The only one who seems to be thriving is Pratt who has resigned to eat what remains of his straw wife
Love this movie! So sad Chris died, he had such a bright future!
Any time there is talk of a vacation or going on a road trip I always quote Higgins: "The food alone is worth the trip!" Hahaha! I love Higgins!
drinking has its benefits! yes you already said that lmao favorite scene
I fucking love this movie hahaha the combination of Farley and Matthew Perry is just gold :D And the slapping part is just hilarious :D
This movie has always been underrated gold, but now that Mathew Perry has joined Chris Farley it's a national treasure. R.I.P to both comedy Titans.
Hunt: There's some discontent among the men.
Edwards: It's our first night in camp. How is there already discontent?
Hunt: Half the men find you cold and distant; the other half feel that the initial high-minded ideals of this journey have been abandoned for quick profit.
Where is the part where he reads the "welcome to snakes bend"sign funniest part of movie MahavwhaPptintin
Very underrated and funny movie! I especially loved the "white water in the morning" line. That was hilarious!
"good god lady" LMFAO
Bent Twig was the best part of the whole movie. " Well, we seem to be making some progress..."
Not the best of Farley's movies, but definitely good for "Farley humor". It's an underrated movie, but it was also his last, so it lives in Farley fan lore.
Wrong, it's seriously the best movie of all time.
technically "Dirty Work" was his last movie, but it was a uncredited smaller part of the movie.
Andrew Smith almost heroes is his last starring role and dirty work was his last role ever would have loved to see him in grown ups and i now pronounce you Chuck and Larry
It’s definitely farleys most underrated film and its on lists of most underrated comedies imo
I'd have to say everything Higgins said was comedic gold. His brother story or when he answered Hidalgo. Because her hair is more beautiful than yours, and your jealous.....priceless considering they all was about to meet certain death. Classic!
"whose idea was the corn?"
"...and we know how you get when you drink"
"yes, we do!"
im usually hard to please when it comes to movies; comedies in general but this movie is in my top 5 comedy movies list. it makes me laugh so hard everytime i watch it. its a freaking classic right up there with movies like airplane, naked gun etc.

"Good niiight Biddwell....Lulluby and goodnight" LOL
Love the part when the guy eats his straw gf crying. Lol
What about, "Don't you know any other Goddamn tune! Huh!?". That scene is great.
I wish they didn't cut so much out in this, I like the part when leslie says "It can never be" and she slaps him lol
Still watch this masterpiece to this very day!!! Crazy how nobody got the humor in this movie upon its initial release. Such an underrated movie!!!
When he gets shit on in the face lol priceless
Good God Ladie!😂
The scene he’s taking the eagle eggs is the funniest IMO. Chris Farley was hilarious
I love this part!! 0:48 - 0:51
Damn, man.. I just sat here laughing my ass off at these clips, then reading the comments and laughing again at some other memorable parts for a good while, then got really bummed out.. Chris Farley is irreplaceable... you are sorely missed, man.

My friends and I still quote this movie. The one we use the most is. "The food alone is worth the trip"!
How could you forget the whiskey scene??
"Then a taste it shall be...whoa...whoa!" HAHA!
Not his best work but Tommy boy should be remembered as a comic masterpiece imo. Huge natural comedic talent, I can't watch a second of Matt Foley without rolling in laughter.

Delicious plum pudding! haha terrible but freakin hilarious! Polish the pewter, shake hands with Benjamin Franklin. love this movie!
wen farley grabs the droppings of the buffalo and smells them, then says, "the buffalo are near." then the other guy says, "nice, you can tell how far they are from smelling the droppings." then farley says, "no, i can see them." then the other guy says, "then how come you are smelling the..." snif* snif* lmao
