Celtic Pride is a 1996 American comedy film written by Judd Apatow and Colin Quinn, and directed by Tom DeCerchio. It stars Daniel Stern and Dan Aykroyd as Mike O'Hara and Jimmy Flaherty, two passionate Boston Celtics fans, and Damon Wayans as Lewis Scott, the Utah Jazz's All-Star shooting guard.

Such an underrated comedy. Daniel Stern, Aykroyd, and Wayans play their roles perfectly and Christopher McDonald (aka Shooter McGavin) absolutely kills it, as usual. 😂

The guy who plays the coach is the golfer from happy gilmore and is one of the funniest guys in this role ever.

Have to admit this really is a "FEEL GOOD" movie. Funny yes, but a lot of life lessons tucked in there for good measure

This was actually a really good movie
The scene before the 1-on-1 game really screams out a lot of reality: a lot of athletes throw their teammates under the bus forgetting the fact that people who came up short in their dreams of going pro would kill to be in their place. The guy with talent is disrespectful and rude, while the guy who's dream "died" is willing to sacrifice for the good of a team and be loyal.
