Looks weird that they're going after him. I think this podcast empowers the individual, and the mainstream media and government-funded broadcasters want to keep people dependent on big pharma, big government and big media.
Great Insights and a Real World example of 'True Grit.' I try to evaluate if my "Want To' is strong enough to be a 'Have To.' Have To can get me up when I'm knocked down, when I Have To!
"Change happens when the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of making a change" I'll carry that for the rest of my life. Great episode 🔥
If you like subjects like the ones he talks about, go check out "Beyond Creepy." Mr Black (the host of Beyond Creepy) is no MrBallen, but the atmosphere of the editing and Mr Black's narrations are top notch!
I’ve slept on this episode for too long. Love his story telling. I took a break listening to Mr. Ballen when I fell asleep on a terrible hot day and had a bad bout with sleep paralysis while his spooky African witchcraft story was playing. It wasn’t the best experience 😂 I needed to heal 😭🤣🤣 but this episode in particular? Getting to learn about his journey and the lessons he learnt? So inspiring.

I am completely shook 😮 that you have Mr. Ballin on here! I am so damn excited to hear his story. I discovered him back during Covid and I’ve binged everything! I follow all his podcasts and I listen to him all the time. He is an amazing storyteller!❤❤❤❤
Thank you for bringing Mr. Ballen on your show. He’s one of the great storyteller on TH-cam. Personal Takeaways: 🍀 Be responsible for your own actions. “It’s my fault.” Is 🔥! 🍀 Set a goal and work hard in making it your reality. 🍀 Self-awareness is key. 🍀 Do your own thing to avoid regret later. 🍀 Be your own best storyteller and shine your light in a world riddled with darkness. 🍀 If you like the mysterious and other things, listen to Mr. Ballen. He’s got this Bob Ross calming voice that keeps me painting while listening to some stories that’s interesting.
Heard about Mr. Ballen from my daughter at a time when I wanted her to get off social media and read more, about 5th grade. During the pandemic their lives were turned upside down! I can't thank you enough for being there when my kids needed good, mysterious, scaryish, creepish stories that she loves and I have always loved, but my kids never knew that side of me. Grateful for you. Yes, the timing of you, the humility, taking responsible for and overcoming things. And the stories. Now I'm seeing you on this and other sites I'm on!
This interview has made me admire John even more, and I didn't think that was possible. ❤ I have decided that I am DEFINITELY going to write my book. It's my shower thought, the ONE thing I've always wanted to do but have always been scared to do because it's a book about my paranormal and unexplained experiences for the last 36 years. Thank you John! ❤
I wish that Mrballen's former team members realize he is a genuine, good person who didn't do anything out of malice or ego, who just told some cool stories, and never meant to hurt or damage anyone or anything. I hope they recognize that someday soon and let him know. Because I think it's really hurtful and wrong to take his experiences away from him, or associate them negatively in any way. ❤

well done stephen Bartlett I did not know who you were before but the BBC are advertising you today on there news website. You must have got them rattled :)
Before I started to comment it showed there had been one reply. But it was gone! I find it Odd the BBC wants him to hold authority over his guests specialities. HELLO??? Big pharma may well have pressured The BBC. GPSs being asked questions they are unable to ans are also struggling to watch their patients die waiting on a list for rationed health care! What is really behind the dangers of people being informed and having more than one size fits all .....sometimes. Gold Standard is over! Power being lots is never easy.
mrballen is amazing whether he knows it or not. there are a lot of people suffering from depression and other things and he has helped people deal with it. im am not saying from a medical point of view but watching his TH-cam storys ive seen a bunch of people thanking him for helping them get through their day.i will always be a huge fan of his and i can't wait to see where he goes from here
I lived my life for my parents, now that they have passed on, I’m 64 and completely lost. This interview meant so much to me. Time to get moving. Thank you. 🥲
I know what you are at. Take a look at the things you like to do and go out and do them on a larger scale. Write the list of what you want to do, want to happen, choose the most important, start with that and go do whatever that is. Just take control, get in the driving seat, and drive. Best to you from Scotland.

It's more true crime. Mike has his own unique way of storytelling. Check him out !
@@TG_8 I love "Murder Mystery and Makeup" by Bailey Sarian, she also has one called "Dark History".
LOOOOOOOVE MR BALLEN! ❤ I’ve been listening to his stories before he became this big success and I still love him. He’s such an outstanding family guy, extremely talented storyteller. Thank you for your service and wish you continued success 😘
I always listen to DOAC and rarely watch, but this one... I'm ready with my popcorn and knitting. Thank you for this Steven and MrBallen
Wow... Mr Ballen on here... great to see him and hear more insights on his life story... now I need to go put my 80% plan in action...
Love Mr Ballen!!! Thank you for having him on! His life is so inspiring! He is right, fear stops us. We freeze! Risk aversion! Do it anyway, chase dreams!
Followed this guy and his incredible storytelling since 20k!!! LOVE HIM x
Same ! I've been around since similar time ! I feel like we have grown with John
oh! I wasn't expecting this. I _should_ have expected this. it's always a bit of a... (shock 🤔) .. surprise 🥳when two content creators I like, respect & enjoy interact. pleased to hear more of your story John (I've been watching MrBallen since you first moved from TikTok to TH-cam - ) (like this right here, right now - 34 comments before the _flood_ arrives)
_and_ I do my research (verified for myself waaay back then, you were indeed a Navy SEAL - ) so know how much good you did/do helping others vets adjust to civilian life & more importantly _work_ after your own struggles
so *thank you* for your service - it is appreciated & valued
& thank you for all the help you provided to help others who served their country adjust
(my partner, well he didn't adjust so well - we lost him in 2007 - (the people who loved him, his parents, his daughter (from a previous relationship) - the world in general (he was so talented & gifted in so many ways)... ptsd from his 10 years at CFB Kingston post 9/11 - drank & medicated himself till his body shut down (kidney & liver failure aged 45)
so *THANK YOU* for helping others adjust
& _thank you_ for your awesome storytelling - (how many million subscribers now? all well deserved) - pleased you are going from success to success - helping others as you do (other content creators under Ballan Studios)
Needed to he's this. I wish you well ❤
How did you italicize "should?"
@@zach_diecast_mansur I used underscore - here "_"
so _ this _ (see left the space to show you)
becomes _this_ (no space)
* bold *
_ italics _
- strike-through -
hmm (don't usually do this last one on purpose - better check -
-strike-through- (good - that worked)
oh underscore - by the 'plus equals' top right of keyboard - need to do "shift" so comes out as _ not -
hope that makes sense, and helps ☺
@@grupadian9809 thanks. wish you well too. ❤
I could not have clicked faster! I will rewatch ballen videos over and over, like binge to the Nth degree because it's just soothing to me. Absolute LOVE his stories. Great guest!
WOOOOOAH HEY MRBALLEN!!!! Nice to see you here too 😁
MrBallen was barely 18 when he took stock and decided to make a positive change; Very young age to do that! Some haven't done that in their 30s!!(and Beyond!)
You're too hard on yourself! You Are Amazing!!
Thank you for sharing all you've shared with us. You've helped soo many people as well as entertained the masses!❤
We love you and appreciate you!😊😊😊

Oops, BBC coming for you this morning Steven! Looks like you finally ‘made it’ !!! 😂
Looks weird that they're going after him. I think this podcast empowers the individual, and the mainstream media and government-funded broadcasters want to keep people dependent on big pharma, big government and big media.
@@nikobellic570They hate any sort of power that’s not direct “For” them.
BBC pick and choose who they want to take down. Usually they try to take down those helping the little guys!
What are they saying about him?
@@paulwarren8832 BBC at again. These guys pander to big corporations and never have to answer to anybody. Stay strong Steven!
I felt quite emotional during parts of this. What an absolutely wonderful interview. Honest, vulnerable, and super inspiring. Thank you so much ❤
Great Insights and a Real World example of 'True Grit.' I try to evaluate if my "Want To' is strong enough to be a 'Have To.' Have To can get me up when I'm knocked down, when I Have To!
Glad this one resonated with you!! 🙏
"Change happens when the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of making a change" I'll carry that for the rest of my life. Great episode 🔥
MrBallen in The Diary of a CEO
Ultimate combo!
Never found a better story teller than MrBallen
If you like subjects like the ones he talks about, go check out "Beyond Creepy." Mr Black (the host of Beyond Creepy) is no MrBallen, but the atmosphere of the editing and Mr Black's narrations are top notch!
What a pleasant surprise! Never expected this collab, LET'S GO!
So glad you have MrBallen on! ..I’m obsessed with his channel on TH-cam. Extremely fascinating and a great storyteller!
“And then there’s ME!” Lol same way I feel about my position in my family 😊
My two absolute favorite podcasters in one room! What a treat!
Was wonderful to shake hands with Mr. Bhallen in Boston for his live tour!
Now can’t wait to meet Steve Bartlett❤🎉
You guys rock!!
I love MrBallen story telling style. I clicked so fast when I got the notification for this video.
This narrative on the Dyaltov Pass is just meh
MrBallen on The Diary Of A CEO LETS FUCKING GO
The accountability is enlightening.
MrBallen inside can’t wait to hear about his life and his philosophy.
If you've got the time, watch John's interview on Shawn Ryan. It's like 5 hours long and really good 😊
I am completely shook 😮 that you have Mr. Ballin on here! I am so damn excited to hear his story. I discovered him back during Covid and I’ve binged everything! I follow all his podcasts and I listen to him all the time. He is an amazing storyteller!❤❤❤❤
3:20 .....and then there's Me! 😂😂😂😂 Mr.Ballen your freaking awesome and so many people appreciate you sooooo much! ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for bringing Mr. Ballen on your show. He’s one of the great storyteller on TH-cam.
Personal Takeaways:
🍀 Be responsible for your own actions.
Wow, I watch DOAC and Mr. Ballen almost daily, this was such a lovely surprise and a great collab episode!
I really enjoy the very informative conversation Thank you so much.

We need him to tour S.A.🎉🎉🎉🎉
This interview has made me admire John even more, and I didn't think that was possible. ❤ I have decided that I am DEFINITELY going to write my book. It's my shower thought, the ONE thing I've always wanted to do but have always been scared to do because it's a book about my paranormal and unexplained experiences for the last 36 years. Thank you John! ❤
MR. BALLEN ... ARE YOU KIDDIN ME!!!!! This I will watch, love this dude ...
His storytelling style is definitely a gift. Great to see MrBallen on this very successful channel!
He’s a coward
Anyone that interviews Mr.Ballen I follow. He’s such an amazing person. Been listening/watching his videos for over a year now.
OMG MR.BALLEN on this channel??!!! Yassssss, such a HOLIDAY TREAT! 🌿🎅🎄💕
Hi I'm Katie, I was a major screw up too. Mrballen you were really lucky to have had such great parents. I wanted to go to the Army but my parents didn't even support me doing that at all. I'm really proud of you for all you've overcame. It's really awesome and you've helped me a lot as well . I have been clean from drugs for 2 years and your stories have been the biggest help with me get sober. To sleep, I listen to you and when I wake up I mediate listening to you theme so much
well done stephen Bartlett I did not know who you were before but the BBC are advertising you today on there news website. You must have got them rattled :)
What a lovely man. I’m so glad I watched this interview of my favorite storyteller. Greetings from Rome, Italy 🇮🇹
BBC attempting a drive by on Stephen. We’ve seen this before with them in the health space. The BBC serves corporate interests. Never forget that.
Details. What are they doing actually? (American here).
When the BBC do a hit piece on you it means you are being a positive influence. It’s a badge of honour.
What happened??
What were they attacking
mrballen is amazing whether he knows it or not. there are a lot of people suffering from depression and other things and he has helped people deal with it. im am not saying from a medical point of view but watching his TH-cam storys ive seen a bunch of people thanking him for helping them get through their day.i will always be a huge fan of his and i can't wait to see where he goes from here
I lived my life for my parents, now that they have passed on, I’m 64 and completely lost.
@@ElizabethWarrenYeahYeah funny my dad was from Scotland. Thank you for your kind words. And I will take them and use them. ☮️🙏

Haha, well put! Encapsulates my thoughts exactly. Love this!!! ❤

A guy whos stories im obsessed with watching is being interviewed by a guy whos interviews i am obsessed with watching, imagine my delight! Thanks guys, great interview! Happy new year wishes to you
Correct. I did same. I struggle everyday with teenagers now. I need to protect my self worth without blame. Two things can be true at same time.
I’ve been listening to Mr Ballen for about 5 years! So good to see him on top podcasts
Dude I was the same way in school. I was a hoodlum I ran away constantly and did dumb shit until I got kidnapped at 18 and held captive for a month. I was abused by many people the entire time multiple times a day, beaten not fed and was given water in a dog bowl. It was the most awful moment of my entire life. I am so thankful to be here but man oh man does the fucking depression,anxiety,P.T.S.D, and crippling agoraphobia sometimes I don’t know how to cope. I’ve tried counseling and medicine for years but I feel alone In the world and I feel like what happened made me crazy sometimes. It makes me so angry because I have spent so much of my life wishing I could block that part out. Sorry for going on and on. Mr.Ballen Has been a huge hero of mine!!! Thank you for making this amazing video!
I’m sorry that happened to you 🫶🏻
Im so sorry about your your experience, how did you get kidnapped and by who and how did you escape wow crazy
you are so strong 🫶🏻
@@divinegoddess7579 thank you so much, I was doing so local modeling shoots and my handler sold me into sex trafficking and how I escaped was my ex kept crazy tabs on me and they dumbasses turned on my cell for like 6 minutes and he was able to get the address and I was saved. Thanks to everyone for what you’ve said I’ve felt weak lately and it helps
Shut that door in your past. Its over. You've proven yourself to be exceptionally strong, resilient and resourceful. You CAN handle anything that comes your way because you have already lived through horrific conditions that many couldn't. I'm so sorry you were put through that.
You two guys together reflecting on life is one of the very best vids you have ever made, mind you I live all of them but this one with J. Ballen really touched me.
Finally! Somebody interesting instead of all these health gurus that are usually on!
Mr Ballen 😯 must watch. Just saw on his comments he was on this and immediately ( after listening to his story) checked it out. Half expected it not to be real for some reason. Brilliant story teller with brilliant true stories. Have watched him evolve since 2020.
Really enjoy both other you independently. This is a 2-4-1
This has been one of my favourite interviews you have done. Very interesting.
This is why we listen to podcasts, it's so amazing to listen to someone talk about their story so effortlessly and you could entirely learn from it 👌
Have just seen bbc news. Sending you lots of love ❤ keep up great work
Hearing Mr Ballen talk about some of this stuff is wild. One of those thats been with him since the pandemic. My sister and mom kept telling me to listen to him lol. But hearing his story is inspiring. Loved this video
I became obsessed with Mr. Ballen years ago!! 😮 Thank you for this interview. 😮❤
I discovered John several years ago and LOVED his storytelling ever since. This interview is showing a different side of him, a vulnerable side. What an interesting guy and his life!!! Ya know what's crazy tho...he looks younger now than when I first started seeing pics of him.. He's got such a babyface!!
Anyway, Steve, thank you once again for not asking stupid questions, for not interrupting your guest and, of course picking John Ballen as a guest for us. I love your format, content and your guests!! yvonne🐼
As a Christian who has had many demons and overcome, he is actually accurate about freedom. The Bible says that it's 'through knowledge that the just are delivered'. The Bible is also a great therapist. But many Christians need counseling too. Great talk. 💜🙏🏽
I see you like to yap.
U can back any argument u want with the bible. Useful in justifying war and keeping women subservient. Enjoy!
You are an amazing interviewer and wise man, in general! Thank you for all the videos! I've been a fan for a while! I've been a huge fan of MrBallen since he started in 2020 and we've even talked before which was so nice of him. Great interview! Two amazing people!
