- This DJI Air 3 first flight review happened during a pretty high wind day with high winds guests up to 37 mph; these are perfect conditions to test this drone and see if it flies as well as the DJI Air 2S - you will be able to see all the cool features this drone offers, and download sample from my website (below).

Great video Henrik. Congratulations on 100k!🎉🎉🎉
I absolutely LOVE your videos, Henrik as I always feel so much better after watching. You're the happiest drone pilot I've ever met!! Awesome! DJI should sell a lot of these after this review! Thanks so much!!!
I can’t help it ain’t it’s nice and shine through that I’m having a good time
Great review Henrik! Awesome to see you got one from dji buddy, moving up in the world my friend! ❤
Nice review! Tack Henrik👍
Henrik, your reviews are always so entertaining, while still packing in plenty of really useful information and demonstrations. Excellent run-through of the Air 3's capabilities; very impressed. Keep up the great work, my friend.👌👍😎
Glad you liked it
Well it did pretty good, just like the mini 3 but with the extra camera capibility. Handled the wind good.
I really like the DJI drones. They have come a long ways and they get better and better.
Thank you so very much Henrik and God bless you always. Have a great week My friend
Thanks for watching!
The biggest problem is without an adjustable aputure you will have to use ND filters. Ok so what? The two lens are different max aputure. Ok so what? Your exposure will be different when you switch between lens. Ok so what? You will have to either adjust ISO or land and adjust your ND filter. Super annoying.
Thanks for samples, sir.
Hi sir its so very fascinating video but its to risky to fly drone in wind like that im so impressed and great video i like it❤❤👍
You are a brave man Hendrik lol. Beaut video mate. 👍
Great review Henrik, I don't think I have seen you so excited about the release of a New DJi Drone. Awesome review considering the weather. You laughed almost all the way through. So you thoroughly enjoyed your 1st flight.....
yes, it's a fun machine - just wait until you see the OA video I put up a bit later..
What a Beast!... I flew Johnnie Drone Flyer's Air 3 yesterday and I am impressed... Thanks for sharing!
yes, it really is
it's so cool!

What a great video! It was like watching a kid getting their christmas gifts! Love it 😄
Yes, I had a blast
Thanks for this cool and complete test. I like your easy style. Tomorrow I have a flight for video boat with 36 km/h wind with rafales 46 km/h … what do u think about ?
The waypoints and relatively long flying time are my features of choice for the Air 3.
Nice review Enright.
🤔 and I was almost set on upgrading to a mavic 3 Pro - to hell with the weight and its penalties! But this, at a third of the price, has really made me stop and think twice about the M3!
Hello, do you know where can i buy the ND filters for the AIR 3? Thx
Good tests
Thanks Aldryn
My main question about waypoint flights are, what happens if comms between controller and drone is interrupted while doing the waypoint flight?
On my Fimi X8 SE 2018 no comms are needed between the drone and the controller ifvit gets cut during the flight.
Very nerve-racking but fun to do.
funny guy! love it!!!
Only thing I'd like from the air3 is the upgraded controller for us mini 3 user's. Maybe some sort of trade in from DJI as they've basically proven that our controllers need antennae.
Exactly...I am hoping the same too
That's why I still have the RCN1 with my mini 3 pro because the DJI RC had a weaker signal. I'm hoping that this one with the antenna will be compatible
@@LenMiDrones It won't
Wow. That's a beast!
Which app did you use at 3:02 to check the wind parameters btw ?
UAV Forecast
I have the DJI Air 3. I live in south Florida. On my last 2 flights, bees were attacking it. Several bees at once. I think the pitch of the prop noise is similar to bees noises, and they think it is an enemy.
nice vid,,,am waiting for mine to arrive should be tomorrow
yeah mine too😀
nice video, good t o see it has waypoints
Yes indeed
would be nice if you could perform a comparative test between the Air3S and Mini 3 Pro about how loud they are. As you did some time ago with the Mini2
Good idea
What is the AF button below the 1x 3x buttons?
Auto Focus
Man, I just lidt my drone (stolen on my trip to france).
So just announced today, This one ticks all the boxes (wish it was more affordable though) .
Great demo! Please demo some obstacle avoidance 👍
yes, you will get that one tomorrow :-)
Thanks for sharing this with us. Do we know if this RC 2 controller will be compatible with any other current drones such as the Mavic 3 series?
It’s not right now - but I will be supprised if they have not tought of thst
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA Thanks for getting back with me on this. Since I already have 5 batteries for my Mavic 3 Classic I have no plans to get rid of it and to be honest, the range is great, but if I could get a slightly stronger signal to the drone for when I drop behind some obstacles, that would be worth spending the extra $369 for this controller. I know the Mavic 3 series drones only have 4 antennas which is 2 less than the Air 3 but the upgrade to 4 total antennas on the controller should even increase the range somewhat for the Mavic 3 series when it comes to being able to control the drone itself. Now I'm not a tech, but that's the way I understand it.
What filters are you using? I'm going to buy the Air 3 but I can't find filters for it. Thanks for the great video.
I was using a ND 16 provided by DJI
Never take off on dirt as it gets into the motors and they will eventually have bearing failure. Hand launch or on a paved surface is essential.
how about 5.1 GHz, can manual select it radio?
1 question what is name of the park in which you film and city or state name love and respect your hard work love from Pakistan ❤
it's called Oreby, in Denmark
This is crazy..
My next drone after air 2 and fpv
It's amazing there isn't even a breeze just 1:58 200yrds away.
👌👍👍
the way points need to come to the mini3pro
could be nice
It was an ... "interesting" choice for DJI to give us that feature - but only for hyperlapse.
Still, Could make it relatively easy to migrate that bit of code to normal video.
always test new drones in windy conditions over water :)
Yes, who dares wins
Hehehe, I was to write a comment about "for youtube reviews only" 🤣
Are the ND filters included with the drone ?
No
I would like to see more drones in the A1-A3 category. 🤔🤔🤔
The camera is a downgrade to the 2s and seeing as the c mark dosnt apply to us in uk as we are not in europe i will stick with the 2s for now, good infomative video thanks.
Air 2S is still a really good drone
wait for the Air 3S.....
@@phix1742 I agree with you 100%
I'm Sold.... This will be my go to drone...
I wonder if the remote will work with the mini 3 pro or air 2s
I need to test it with Mini 3 Pro for sure
@@TECHDRONEMEDIADJI has said not compatible with the Mini 3 Pro and above. Only compatible with the Air 3 😢
no it won't
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA I pray that they put some kind of firmware update to make them compatible. It's probably a marketing trick
Controller will not work with any other drone.
Does it have a C1 marking?
Yes. It does. It was shown in the video.
@@motionwingsmedia Thanks!!
Please use o tapete do teu carro! Equipameto caro... Sigo assistindo...
Henry you sound super excited, haha.. Must of been really nice to fly and play with.
I was this is the drone I have been waiting for
When you say 48 MP, are we talking real 48 MP or Mini3 48 MP ?
Mini3 48 MP, same sensor
1:32 drone is gone? :O
I must say that It hasn't impressed me that much. My DJI Mini 3 Pro is still a great drone and it's not worth the upgrade, in my opinion. Anyway, thank you for showing us the AIR3 and giving us all those details.
I can only agree.
That's the whole idea, you can decide based on the info provided :-)
I've worked with the Inspire 2 & 3 and having more than one lens is unbelievably useful.
Not having to land to change lenses makes that feature even better.
You probably barely use the mini 3 to its full capability like most people, from a photography/videography point of view so the vast upgrades wouldn't be noticed/needed.
The backlight sensor is the newest of the new of technology, that alone is worst the upgrade 10 fold.
Nice Video...😊 Air3 is a big upgrade from Air2S - but exception for one important things... it is camera with 1" sensor ! Therefore i wait for Air3 PRO in the near future !!!
Yes, the sensor is smaller but the technology is different and may I suggest you look at the video from originaldobo he has a very good explanation on the differences
I would not call a smaller camera a upgrade it’s more of a downgrade
Dji had to tell these guys to all say the Camera is 48mp. It’s 12mb. Only good in 48 to 400 iso then better in regular 12 mp mode
It is 48MP, but due to quad bayer sensor 4 pixels are stacked, so you you will get a better image with 12MP mode..
Take a look at what Nobbygreen have posted! Warning sign size serious.
yes, that is problem - but he does not have the unit - they will eventually fix it I'm sure
It’s a downgrade from the air 2s everything seems great at first they downsize the camera from the air 2s wait for the air3s with a better camera larger than this mini pro camera don’t forget some of these guys who advertise DJI they get free drones they don’t care everything is perfect when it’s free.
It’s a different sensor, so yes, the number of pixels are less but the low light capabilities are way better, so I guess we would need to wait for some comparison to see the real difference
it's basically the min 3 but with an extra camera with 3x zoom. that controller is what i'm wanting though over the standard rc.
And 360 active track, and 360 obstacle avoidance, and waypoints, and extra battery life, and zoom compression, and the RC2 controller with Ocusync 4 ......
it's a lot more than that
@@dronezoneessex5551 you're missing the point though. all that is well and good but means nothing if the camera isnt decent enough for some peoples needs. the controller i'll buy on it's own. i mainly shoot in low light so this is not as good as i hoped. i have the min 3, 2s and mavic 3 and was going to replace the 2s but no way with the camera being a slight downgrade (12mp photos too). the camera is the most important part of the drone. i'll always take a drone with less feature but bigger camera sensor. when the 3s comes out, then i'll get that thou.
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA i know buddy but it's missing the most important upgrade of all..hope the 3s comes out in winter or early next year. i know this is a good camera with better software but imagine how good it will be at 1 inch.
@@denaco I so agree. It probably wouldn't have broken the bank
for DJI to at least give it 24 MP. I never use that fake "48 MP" on the mini 3.
Tested it a few times and most of the time the 12 MP picture turns out better.
Thank you for the review , I will be waiting for the DJI Air 3 S instead..... specially like you say 27 minutes of flying is not 45 minutes as advertised .:((((
Thanks for watching!
I think it only lasted that amount of time due to the wind
NO power plug include .......NO camera filter lens incude .....dji looses her reputation !!!! Why must i pay extra money to buy essential parts ????
