I bought 100 shares of Tesla after watching this documentary in 2012. Love it. I have accumulated another 400 shares so far. My first 100 shares were purchased at $35 a share. The next 400 shares were purchased at an average of $87 per share. People need to keep buying Tesla, make it a very profitable company and increase both its share values and prices. @@pdk63 Got my Model S in 2015, people would regularly laugh at me about running out of batteries on the highway and Tesla bankruptcy leaving me with a brick. Who is laughing now? I am at 60k miles without any major repairs and driving like I stole it every day! Tesla stock is over 1k and the F9(self landing reusable stages)/Dragon delivered humans to the space station.

The production of Electric cars is worse then petrol cars but after 5300 miles on coal powered electricity they break even and after that they produce way less fumes. This is because Electric motors are 8x more efficient due to producing less sound and heat energy. Also petrol cars use more electricity then Electric cars due to the process of petrol using a lot of electricity combined with the fact that 70% is lost when used by a petrol car while only 10% is lost through power lines then the battery then the motor. And what if we use 100% renewables? Then Electric cars look even cleaner! Oh and that Electric car C02 emissions doesn't take into account battery's that were recycled (Tesla recycles 100% of their batteries) and that they're about to reduce battery production emissions by 70% with the 4680 cells.

This was shot back in 2011-2012 and production began on June 22, 2012 and the first ten cars were delivered to their owners. At this point Tesla had almost 3000 employees, Tesla today has over 50'000 employees. Giggafactory 1 is in Nevada, Gigafactory 2 is in Buffalo, NY. Giggafactory 3 is in Shainghai, China. Daimler just announced that they will no longer invest in ice engines and will from now on will develop only electric vehicles. The rest of the industry world wide will soon follow. Tesla is leading the revolution in electrified transportation and most automotive engineers agree Tesla has a ten year lead on everybody else in building electric vehicles.

If gas was better then RC Hobby Shops would not be full of electric airplanes, electric helicopters, and electric cars, where nitro and gas engines used to be used... now often being replaced by electric multi-rotor aircraft anyone can fly. The main reason we still use gas cars is politics connected to money and oil... but even a greedy fool knows killing yourself over money is not a smart thing to do so now we see full scale cars (and gliders) going electric AND gaining performance no gas car can keep up with. An electric motor on each wheel with a smart hydraulic suspension system connected to a computer looking ahead can do some REALLY amazing things to avoid hitting another car including spins, rolls, and forward/backward flips.

Electric cars may have zero emissions at the point of use, but you have to rape the world to produce them. I originally bought into the idea and purchased a Tesla. Worst decision of my life, it was hopeless. Then I did some research into how these things are produced. I was truly horrified by the environmental impact they cause the planet. Want to preserve the Earth? Don't buy a Tesla.

Saw this documentary on release in 2012 went out and ordered a Model S. Got my Model S P 85 in 2014 found its so brilliant including the charging infrastructure figured this is the future, bought a load of Tesla shares. It was clearly obvious this was way better than clunky ICE I put in Solar and bought a Zero electric motorbike. When Im on the bike the car charges, when Im in the car the bike charges. Now 100,000 miles and 6 years later car is better and faster than when i bought it due to over the air updates, still such fun to drive, batteries are lasting for 500,000 miles service has been excellent on the odd occasion it was needed. Shares topped $1,200! Tesla is the most valuable car company in the world and the 25th most valuable in the world. Whats not to like at the same time saving the planet. Only car ill ever have is Tesla so plunked down a deposit on a Roadster. Shares paid for both many times over. I think we can say Elon and the Tesla crew you did what you said, there may yet be a future for our kids to enjoy.

Electric cars need electricity, and in producing electricity, we burn 3 things: coal, gas or oil. So oil is still used in the production of electricity. If we gave up on combustion cars, the oil used will simply go to producing energy for the cars. If it was a car working on hydrogen or some alternative cheap and accessible fuel that would make sense.

So when you're using fuel you're also using the electricity that went into making that fuel. Every drop of fuel not burned in a combustion engine at the same time also saves energy on drilling, pumping and transportation in addition to said refining. The electric car can move a long way on the energy spent on producing fuel, thus greatly reducing the volume of oil needed. Big oil have alot to lose, so the suppression you mention is not as far fetched as you may think. Old auto realizes Tesla has a 10 year head start on them as far as BEV's go, and they are heavily invested in R&D for the ICE, so they are only reluctantly trying to make the change. If Tesla didn't force their hands by stealing market shares, the change would never come. A high estimate of the energy need of a BEV: 0.25 kwh / km. Now Google the energy density of gasoline or diesel and add the energy needed to drill, pump, transport and refine the oil into fuel and distribute it. You'll discover that ICE easily takes atleast 6 times the energy to move your vehicle the same distance. Also exhaust causes cancer.

@Nolan Abell Yes, me too...Tesla's problem is production, assembly they need to eliminate a lot of the fasteners, extra chassis parts, the assembly is over complicated as well as cleaning up the fit finish, This is why Tesla struggles with cash flow. Better doesn't guarantee success, you have to be able to deliver the product in large numbers at a profit with few problems. Need proof? Toyota produced millions of cars in that same plant at a profit. If Tesla can solve those issues, it will survive and become one of the biggest automobile manufacturing companies in the world. If not it will still go down in history as the company the revolutionized the automobile business to think outside the box and move away from the ICE powered automobile.

Remember, a non-car producer introduces new ideas on how to run and control an electric car without the production line experience--gradually learns how to improve the production quality to producing/ selling nearly 300,000/ quarter year in a matter of several years. Musk is no casual fool to mess with. He gets stuff done and then improves it when it has faults. You would not believe the poor build quality in American cars when I was young--something that cost the big Three seriously once the Japanese began to surpass American quality of build. I am at 60k miles without any major repairs and driving like I stole it every day! Tesla stock is over 1k and the F9(self landing reusable stages)/Dragon delivered humans to the space station.

The production of Electric cars is worse then petrol cars but after 5300 miles on coal powered electricity they break even and after that they produce way less fumes. This is because Electric motors are 8x more efficient due to producing less sound and heat energy. Also petrol cars use more electricity then Electric cars due to the process of petrol using a lot of electricity combined with the fact that 70% is lost when used by a petrol car while only 10% is lost through power lines then the battery then the motor. And what if we use 100% renewables? Then Electric cars look even cleaner! Oh and that Electric car C02 emissions doesn't take into account battery's that were recycled (Tesla recycles 100% of their batteries) and that they're about to reduce battery production emissions by 70% with the 4680 cells.

If gas was better then RC Hobby Shops would not be full of electric airplanes, electric helicopters, and electric cars, where nitro and gas engines used to be used... now often being replaced by electric multi-rotor aircraft anyone can fly. The main reason we still use gas cars is politics connected to money and oil... but even a greedy fool knows killing yourself over money is not a smart thing to do so now we see full scale cars (and gliders) going electric AND gaining performance no gas car can keep up with. An electric motor on each wheel with a smart hydraulic suspension system connected to a computer looking ahead can do some REALLY amazing things to avoid hitting another car including spins, rolls, and forward/backward flips.

Saw this documentary on release in 2012 went out and ordered a Model S. Got my Model S P 85 in 2014 found its so brilliant including the charging infrastructure figured this is the future, bought a load of Tesla shares. It was clearly obvious this was way better than clunky ICE I put in Solar and bought a Zero electric motorbike. When Im on the bike the car charges, when Im in the car the bike charges. Now 100,000 miles and 6 years later car is better and faster than when i bought it due to over the air updates, still such fun to drive, batteries are lasting for 500,000 miles service has been excellent on the odd occasion it was needed. Shares topped $1,200! Tesla is the most valuable car company in the world and the 25th most valuable in the world. Whats not to like at the same time saving the planet. Only car ill ever have is Tesla so plunked down a deposit on a Roadster. Shares paid for both many times over. I think we can say Elon and the Tesla crew you did what you said, there may yet be a future for our kids to enjoy.

Electric cars need electricity, and in producing electricity, we burn 3 things: coal, gas or oil. So oil is still used in the production of electricity. If we gave up on combustion cars, the oil used will simply go to producing energy for the cars. If it was a car working on hydrogen or some alternative cheap and accessible fuel that would make sense.

Solar and wind farms have their downsides and electricity will still be produced from coal, natural gas and oil but they can co-exist.

Every drop of fuel not burned in a combustion engine at the same time also saves energy on drilling, pumping and transportation in addition to said refining.
The electric car can move a long way on the energy spent on producing fuel, thus greatly reducing the volume of oil needed.
Big oil have alot to lose, so the suppression you mention is not as far fetched as you may think.
Old auto realizes Tesla has a 10 year head start on them as far as BEV's go, and they are heavily invested in R&D for the ICE, so they are only reluctantly trying to make the change. If Tesla didn't force their hands by stealing market shares, the change would never come.
A high estimate of the energy need of a BEV: 0.25 kwh / km.
Now Google the energy density of gasoline or diesel and add the energy needed to drill, pump, transport and refine the oil into fuel and distribute it. You'll discover that ICE easily takes atleast 6 times the energy to move your vehicle the same distance.
Also exhaust causes cancer.

😊 Well, I truly love God. I am not religious but very spiritual person. So, I believe 1) Religion is the beliefs in someone experiences But spirituality is having my own experiences. The mainstream religions people promote religious ideology by giving guidelines and guide but In my spiritual life; I do not want anyone or anything between God and me to restrict my freedom to worship God. 2) We do not need any authorities to do good work. The god work is the good work always. In contrast; organised mainstream religions are claiming that they have the authorities to do God works as leaders so on. 3) God is not capable of doing wrong thing, change the past for us and create anything out of nothing for us. Nothing means not anything. So, even God is limited. The mainstream religious people believe that God is unlimited. 4) God wants us to take responsibilities for our righteousness life but not for all the consequences of our actions because they are continued to exist among us. So, How can god punish us for all our consequences? The mainstream religious people believe we are full of sins because of all our actions. 5) Freewill is an illusion. People always choose the perceived path of greatest pleasure. So, we do not have choices all the time. In contrast teachings of the mainstream religions are promoting people to do god's will always because we all have choices of freewill always. 6) We can not separate everything into groups. So, everything for good and evil and there's no success and failure for everything. If everything is real then real things can not be threatened. Once you come to understand that God/The Holy Spirit is in each of us, You will no longer need a Book to tell you how to live. Then why we need religious scriptures? The Virtue is the expression of the basic goodness in our actions. The Basic goodness is the fundamental worthiness of every individuals. We are worthy to God always in everything. 7) Beliefs in a cruel God makes a cruel man. No matter what; every living creatures has the right to live and What makes their life cheap? Everything depends on everything. Nothing too big or too small in value. We can not love and hate at the same time; Being a vegetarian means love without cruelty happily. The mainstream religious people are killing people and sacrificing animals in the name of God. They promote God's cruel punishments. The Punishment is endless for Sinners/Devil according to religious scriptures. But God is love always. Overcome hate with love. If all religions for peace, unity? No way. Because they are not for peace. 8) Well, The God gave us everything to go from moment to moment in our lives as we do our part and pray only to thank god then the Love is in progress. The Love is always for everyone. We are always worthy of the God's love. Our greatest fear is; not to be loved by anyone but we are all loved by someone. When we eliminate all our unnecessary differences among us then true peaceful life is possible with the true love. If we can't find the peace within ourselves then we will never find it anywhere else. 9) This is the Fight for independence and freedom of humanity to worship God freely without religious guide and guidelines to restrict us. Unnecessarily, We do not want third party controls over us in anything ; especially in spirituality. 10) Revive Survive Thrive. Sincerely, The Real Peacemaker against religious oppression.

@Nolan Abell Yes, me too...Tesla's problem is production, assembly they need to eliminate a lot of the fasteners, extra chassis parts, the assembly is over complicated as well as cleaning up the fit finish, This is why Tesla struggles with cash flow.
Better doesn't guarantee success, you have to be able to deliver the product in large numbers at a profit with few problems. Need proof? Toyota produced millions of cars in that same plant at a profit.
If Tesla can solve those issues, it will survive and become one of the biggest automobile manufacturing companies in the world. If not it will still go down in history as the company the revolutionized the automobile business to think outside the box and move away from the ICE powered automobile.
You won't have to wait for very long.

Remember, a non-car producer introduces new ideas on how to run and control an electric car without the production line experience--gradually learns how to improve the production quality to producing/ selling nearly 300,000/ quarter year in a matter of several years. Musk is no casual fool to mess with. He gets stuff done and then improves it when it has faults. You would not believe the poor build quality in American cars when I was young--something that cost the big Three seriously once the Japanese began to surpass American quality of build. They had to rethink production seriously. Same thing happened to Elon at first--needed to learn more and demand more in the production line. Done. The man is nobody's fool.
World is ready to adopt. Don't forget for Africa too. And also small cars and not expensive for business like taxi.

I bought 100 shares of Tesla after watching this documentary in 2012. Love it. I have accumulated another 400 shares so far. My first 100 shares were purchased at $35 a share. The next 400 shares were purchased at an average of $87 per share. People need to keep buying Tesla, make it a very profitable company and increase both its share values and prices. It is my retirement.
