  • Join me on an awe-inspiring journey as I embark on a solo self-drive adventure at the magnificent Nkasa Rupara National Park in Namibia. Get ready to immerse yourself in the untamed beauty of this pristine African wilderness, as I navigate its rugged terrain in my trusty 4x4 vehicle.
    Nkasa Rupara National Park, located in the heart of Namibia, is a nature lover's paradise. This captivating video captures the essence of my remarkable journey, as I explore the park's diverse ecosystems and encounter its incredible wildlife up close.
    Watch in awe as I traverse the sprawling grasslands, dense woodlands, and breathtaking wetlands, each offering a unique glimpse into the park's rich biodiversity. Marvel at the vast herds of elephants gracefully meandering through the savannah, their majestic presence leaving me in awe of nature's grandeur.
    The park is renowned for its abundant birdlife, and I had the privilege of witnessing a vibrant spectacle of colorful plumage, as flocks of birds took to the skies above. Their melodic calls and graceful flights created a mesmerizing symphony in the wilderness.

    My advice to you brother Nick, please do not change the name of the channel, just leave it as it is 5410Afrika.

    Thanks for the tour Nick. I've been to Etosha years ago. I'm missing my home country, it's soil, the people, the food, and it's animals. I enjoyed your tour. I'll visit it next time when I go back to Namibia. Cheers Nick!!!

    You´re right Nick. There´s a Namibia for first-timers that cannot miss Etosha, Swakop, or Sossusvlei. And then, there's another Namibia for those who want to go beyond and discover the hidden gems of Caprivi. There's no right or wrong. But there's a difference between "what you see " and "what you feel". There are very few places where you still can "feel" the African bush and one of them is Nkasa Rupara NP.

    Any trip to Namibia and it’s wonderful game parks is worth it. You will never regret the journey, the wonderful landscapes, the wild animals, and you will want to return to this remarkable country again.

    Good content as usual. And wish things would improve overally and 5410 can roll out season 2...
    FYI. We are 5410 Africa so don't change the name.
    The dream had to live despite these minor setbacks.
    You started the journey and it's our duty to dream of finishing it.
    More Namibia, while we wait for the money to roll in. Will be back as Patreon again soon 👌👌👌👌🙈🙈🙈

    One of my favourite parks in the Caprivi and you are right about the experience of the park. Part of the attraction is that it is quiet and remote. It’s also a bit prettier after the rains in April. (Better hippo and buffalo sightings ) Although Livingstone Camp is nice base. I would be keen on camping at one of the parks sites next time. They look nicely situated along the river. It is in my opinion a great park to experience with other parks in the region. Our challenge at the time was to see if we could get to the Linyanti River. When there is too much water it is almost impossible. Thanks for taking me there again. Lekker Vid 👍

    • @NickfrNamibia
      @NickfrNamibia  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the message👍 couldn't agree more, but i guess its the luxury of time that allow some to enjoy the smaller parks whilst other have to be more selective. Not sure if I missed something, but there are no campsites inside the park... only the Rupara & Jackalberry lodges....

    • @carlosmoreno.h
      @carlosmoreno.h 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@NickfrNamibia I guess he's referring to Rupara Campsites, the closest to the Park gate and located along the Harubandi Channel.

    So our next trip to Caprivi is planned for March. I am afraid that is the wet season... Anybody knows if we still could go to Nkasa?

    • @NickfrNamibia
      @NickfrNamibia  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      As I understand you can still visit but a lot of the park cannot be accessed, but Ive never been there in the rainy season so wont be able to confirm. Maybe contact the lodges and try and get some info from them. Jackalberry is quite deep in...

    • @carlosmoreno.h
      @carlosmoreno.h 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I've been there in the wet season, long ago when there were no bridges. In one of the multiple water crossings, the water came up to the hood of my Hilux. I guess it's different now with the bridges, but still plenty of mud. As for the Park, I'd do the first game drive with one of the lodge's vehicles (they know the park like the back of their hand) and then decide if you want to do it again on your own.

    • @NickfrNamibia
      @NickfrNamibia  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I always suggest this as well. Or if you are unable to find animals, consider an organised game drive
