Registered Nurse (RN) is a 4-yr program; Practical Nurse (PN) is a 2-yr program. Upon graduation, one needs to pass the NCLEX exam to be licensed in the province. In Quebec, there is an additional French language test. As Candian RN, you can work in USA via TN-1 visa of USMCA agreement; this visa is not available for PN.
