If you are registered as an LPN or equivalent in another Canadian jurisdiction, you may be eligible for practicing registration in B.C. in accordance with the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and BCCNM’s bylaws. Hello po, mam! I was wondering po about the SBV, can you explain further what you did for them to mail the SBV directly to the NNAS? Im having trouble po kasi because I'm already here in Canada and i just heard about the NNAS. My rep will request my docs sa PRC but I'm worried about the institution to institution transaction. I called them about that and they said that they don't have an official courier service so it means that my rep would have to be the one to send the SBV to them. Any advice? Huhu thank you po
What I did is I processed it in PRC then they will tell you to go the courier services in front. Pay the fees and give the receipt to PRC. The PRC will coordinate with DHL for example. I think you can also do postal service but it will need to take a longer time.
You can ask them what they did with previous nnas or cgfns applicants. There's a big chance that you're not the first one to process these kinds of application so I think they already have protocols about it.

Also if the application forms for Nursing Education Form, Employment Form, Registration Form must be sent directly from the local schools, jobs, and nursing registration this means you will have to travel back to your home country to have these forms completed and mailed out? And does someone with a 4 year Bachelors in Nursing degree having a higher chance of being accepted as a RN? Or it doesn't matter if they have a degree vs certificate?
Hi! 1. You can apply from any country outside Canada 2. You can ask someone to process it for you back home. You just need to ask school/work additional requirements like authorization letter etc. 3. I can't say because in my country we only have a bachelor's degree. If you only have a certificate maybe you need additional studies in Canada before being a nurse. You can email them to ask also. can u please help, my account has been locked even though my security questions have been answered correctly
For NNAS? You can contact them on their email address
How about BSN grad sa pinas but not Registered. Pwde po ba mag paassess?
Pwede parin mag pass, i aassess ng NNAS tas si regulatory body ang magdedecide kung ano need gawin
Hi Fabb. After completing the forms, can I send it via email to FEU and PRC or do I have to mail the completed forms?
For PRC you need to print it and go to the office because there is a process for it. For your school you can ask them how they would prefer to do it. What needs to be mailed is from FEU/PRC to NNAS Address in Philadelphia directly. Hope this helps!
@@nursefabb_ca Thank you! I’ll have someone process my PRC requirement. All the best to your application. I live in lower mainland and it would be nice to chat with you in person 😃
And to you as well. Sure! I'd love to have coffee and a chat with you :)
Hello ma'am. I would like to ask when should I accomplish my IELTS exam? I am currently in my NNAS application.
Hi! I suggest you ask the regulatory body of the province if they still require it. But you can do it after NNAS so that you can maximize the 2 year validity. Hope this helps!
Thank you ma'am. One more thing, I have had multiple employers for the past 5 years, should I download the employment forms twice?
Hi
What about if we are doing nnas process second time because first time my rn file was closed due to no activity , so have done it second time and nnas did not ask for new documents , when i did payment then after that it was showing that its ready for review, i did not submit any documents from my college back home, no any identity documents
Could u pls tell me that do i need to submit documents again or they will consider the previous documents that i submitted them 3 years ago, pls let me know
Thanks
Hi! You can contact NNAS through your dashboard to be sure so that they can reply based on your situation. You can also submit this form www.nnas.ca/contact-support/
Hi Fabb, watching here from Vancouver.. ask lang Nang help, I’m out of nursing for 18years, gusto ko sana mag try for nursing here. Pero expired na ang yon licensed ko, do I need to be dual citizenship first or I can process even walang PRC license? Please advise. Thank you.
Hi! I think if you've worked in PH it would be best if you have the PRC license so they can consider your experience. But you can email BCCNM to clarify. Also, stay tuned for a future video because I will be explaining how to get financial support as an IEN who wants to work in BC. Hope you like and subscribe!
@@nursefabb_ca : thank you Miss Fab. Sure I’ll wait and watch that video, your so helpful and awesome 👏
Hi , while doing my application I made an error that was 1. Double entry of my school of nursing. So still it’s under evaluation. All my other documents are ready for evaluation.because of this reason there is no change in my application. Is it resolvable or do we need to cancel the account and re do it
you have to message them in the portal and will remove it once the fee is paid i was told
Hy
I was an international nurse from Nepal done pcl 5 yrs ago
But now m here as an dependent on New Brunswick clair
Now we got PR so
M i eligible to do NNAS without Ielts?
Do they wave Ielts?
Is experience require for applying for NNAS???
No
Hello po, mam!
@@nursefabb_ca okay okay. thank you very much mam!!!!!!
@@nursefabb_ca also po, how did you get your college and prev employer to send it directly to the NNAS?
You can ask them what they did with previous nnas or cgfns applicants. There's a big chance that you're not the first one to process these kinds of application so I think they already have protocols about it.
I just finished from nursing school and my license is not yet out, only my notification letter. Am I qualified to apply for nnas?
And can one register this too when the person arrives at Canada?
hi! you're from which country?

I have a question, I am a nurse and I want to apply but I don’t have an experience is that okey?
and did you choose the hospital you want to work in from the beginning ?
How much salary do they give ?
Hi! It is not required to have experience although it would help a lot. I havent chose a hospital yet because I need to do the NCLEX first. And the starting salary will vary from province to province.
Hope this helps!
Hello,
I am trying to apply for NNAS application from Australia. And I am unable to pay as they only accept credit card. So do you have any tips on how pay for the application?
Thanks
I think yes they only accept credit card. Maybe you can ask a friend to use their credit card and just pay them with cash.
@@nursefabb_ca Yea might have to do that. Thanks
Hello, I learnt that NNAS no longer requires ielts exam, are you aware of that?
Yes, but most of the regulatory board in Canada still would require it.
Are we supposed to send the ID documents direct to NNAS alone!

Will also upload youtube video about all requirements
Hi ate Fabb, got a question for you am I able to apply for NNAS even though I am just a graduate of Nursing back home, I'm not a registered nurse in the Philippines and I don't have any work related experience to nursing. BTW I graduated BSN way back 2007 pa. Thanks hope you give me some advice cause I really want to pursue my nursing career here in Canada. Right now I'm living and working here in NS and my PR is still in process status.

You can take Bachelor's Degree in Canada
@@nursefabb_ca are you aware of the steps to apply in the nursing profession, and fees pls, thank you!

hi...is it possible to process my nnas if i am not in the Philippines. I am currently living here in Finland. Thank you
Yes you just need an authorized person to process it on your behalf
Is it possible to apply with ielts general training? Ive taken this one and i have good scores
It is required to take the IELTS ACADEMIC type for the NNAS
Hi po. What if po without work experience? Do I still need to process the Nursing Practice/Employment form? 😊
Not really sure but depends po siguro sa sagot ninyo dun sa form. Most probably pag wala pong nilagay na practice di na po sila mag gegenerate ng form
@@nursefabb_ca thank you po! ❤️
Hello Po!!! I have a question,
Do applicants have to be from specific countries like Phillipines? or can it be from any country globally like Ethiopia?
Also if the application forms for Nursing Education Form, Employment Form, Registration Form must be sent directly from the local schools, jobs, and nursing registration this means you will have to travel back to your home country to have these forms completed and mailed out?
And does someone with a 4 year Bachelors in Nursing degree having a higher chance of being accepted as a RN?
Or it doesn't matter if they have a degree vs certificate?
Hi!
1. You can apply from any country outside Canada
2. You can ask someone to process it for you back home. You just need to ask school/work additional requirements like authorization letter etc.
3. I can't say because in my country we only have a bachelor's degree. If you only have a certificate maybe you need additional studies in Canada before being a nurse. You can email them to ask also.
Hope this helps!
@@nursefabb_ca Ok thanks so much dear🥰🥰🥰
Hi ma’am! Kindly answer my concern: I am registered nurse here in Philippines with 12 yrs hospital experienced abroad and Philippines. I am not yet NCLEX passer. Should I apply as LPN only?
Thank you po! 🙏🏼❤️
I'm not an NCLEX passer yet too so it is not needed to apply for NNAS. It would be up to you if you want to have LPN or RN or apply for both
Maam about NNAS (Part E employment), i have a question,,,Total number of nursing practise hours worked for each calendar year, in the last five years? i Only had 6 months experience sa hospital ; may 10,2018 to november 15,2018.....paano ko to isulat ?? salamat

Hello po.
I did my LPN here in Canada so I won’t be eligible to apply for NNAS right? I want to be an RN po without bridging and have to study for another 2 years. Is there any other option? I did my BSN in 2014 and got my degree, but did not take the board exam. 😊
What you can do is email the regulatory board in the province you want to work as an RN to ask what are the steps you need to do. It will be different per province and I read in the news in Ontario they will have programs for LPN and PSW who wants to be RN. They are making things easier so that they can produce more nurses, you can research on that too
@@nursefabb_ca thank you po for the information! I will start with CNO and maybe transfer my license sa CARNA.
May i ask po, uf my son take nursing course in ontario, will he be able to use it in alberta, im considering to move in alberta once he finish college because of the cost of living in ontario. Thank you po
Hi! I'm not sure po if he can directly register to Alberta after college, but if he is registered in Ontario and he wants to move to Alberto I think he needs around 1500 of working po. But best po if you can email the regulatory body so they can advise more approriately

I understand that the curriculum is less specific than the syllabi. I'm actually a bit confused about this. Please let me know about it . Thankyou so much

Hello po! Experience is not required po for NNAS basta nakapag bachelors po sa ibang bansa. Hello thanks a lot for the information, qn. Is the nclex necessary before doing NNAS
No, but if you already did you can put details of it so they can assess it too
I'm sorry to say I was very disappointed with NNAS . I did all my papers on the way they should be done. Unfortunately no one to help from NNAS representative. When I called all the time different representative answered the phone...Last I submitted was my nursing License from my country. When I called NNAS, representative said they didn't received my license. School has that tracking number saying to me they did received.I keep calling NNAS talking to representative and saying ,please send me an email that you "didn't received"as a prove .No one send me email and nothing...So I keep calling then one lady said yes WE RECEIVED but unfortunately paper expired you have to send it license again.I was so disappointed. Extending 2 or 3 times spend so much money and nothing happened.
I'm Canadian citizen and I was sending my papers to Philadelphia. (for some reasons they told me in that time ti send to Philadelphia.
Hi, I was looking for this comment for a long time but I just found it now. I'm so sorry to hear about your experience. I am curious on what they meant when they said that the paper was expired. Also, NNAS is affiliated with CGFNS in the USA which is the verification body counterpart that is why they are asking us to send it there
Nursing grad ka po ba ddto sa pinas?
