However, the IRCC website does not say that! It basically states that you should apply as if you're applying from outside Canada but still need to use your Canadian address in order to receive the study permit from the post office. What is your feedback about this?

You don’t have to go back to ur home country but you will need to leave and re-enter Canada. Just bring the proper docs with when you re-enter like your letter of acceptance, letter of approval, etc.
Hello! I find your video very helpful! I have a question that has been confusing me a lot with all the research I did. I keep seeing websites telling me that if we want to switch from visitors to study permit, we MUST complete a prerequisite program? Then only after, we can apply for a change of status ( from visitor to study permit). But The thing is I do not know if this rules is related to the policy for visitors that stopped in August (rather than Feb 2025). Have you heard of that prerequisite course and what kind of course can we do ? Is it even necessary or is it another method to use in order to get the study permit without leaving Canada? I’m really confused . Thank you 🙏
Hello SLE, I was on study permit and now converted to work permit through PNP. However, I don't have a new Visa stamp on my passport. I still have the Student Visa counterfoil. Got my work permit via flagpoling. How can I get a TRV as a worker now? Will I be able to travel outside Canada and be back with no issues without a TRV on my passport? Please advise on this. You applied trough PNP and have PR now? For a PR there is no stamp in your passport. If it is some kind of work permit, I am not sure, please check that with IRCC.

Yes that should be ok. I don't see why they would cancel your tourist visa if the study permit application does not get approved. Unless the application disclosed information that you violated the terms for the tourist visa maybe? Please verify this with IRCC.

Hi, You should have proof of funds from yourself as well as your sponsors. Financial proof from your Grandfather like bank statements etc. as well as financial proof from your aunt in Canada in addition to proof of accommodation, employment, how will she support you etc. Have them each write a letter explaining how and why they will support you as well.

usually you get the stamped frist from the embassy right, and then you get the permit at the border
