Only question i have that i don't think I heard you address is how the cable changes the weight? Love this safety idea! Would an individual at home be able to re tether their own heads, or have to send them in for re tethering?
I don’t use fire poi (too klutzy) but I do love watching it. This is a fantastic feature. I’m amazed no one thought of it before now.

They feel about the same weight as normal technora tethers to me...maybe just a hair lighter?
