    Let me know if you believe that Bishaten and his Subspecies Blood Orange Bishaten should be returning to Monster Hunter Wilds and what other monsters would you want me to cover in future episodes! Also feel free to join our official Discord Community for some MH Wilds Talk! discord.gg/gQceDfBZcC

      Bishaten w/ Blood Orange would be great in Wilds! Some of his moves would maybe need to be reworked for a more realistic game, but his monster design is awesome and a fun fight! I agree that some of the Rise monsters COULD be out of place, but I think Bishaten could fit easier than others.
      *Edit: And btw a video on Tetsucabra would be really cool. He was sort of teased in Rise w/ baby Tetsu.
      Also: Bishaten had some great armor design that I used in my layered armor. Would love to have his and Odogaron's armor in the same game for layering (And Odo's skills)
      Also: A video for Odogaron and Ebony Odogaron would also be cool to see! Yes there is the argument that they stay mostly in Rotten Vale, but even something as simple a thriving and booming population, enough to cause a food scarcity, could be a reason that some could wander farther away from the vale. They already can be found in Coral Highlands in World...
      Also: The Hunting Horn Whale themed monster! Poparabaro? Idk spelling it's name rn.
      *Poborubarumu. Idk anything about this one, but he looks cool and unique. Well executed Weapon themed monsters are a win.
      * INAGAMI and Pariapuria. That should be enough for now. Just started looking into some old monsters I never saw before. I knew Capcom had a Star Roster to pull from, but some of these old-school monsters blow my mind. Capcom is goat for these old monsters and new, I love hunting them all!!! Except for PiScEnE WyVeRnS!!

      I personally dislike B.O.B strictly because of Sunbreak's fire subspecies problem.
      Bishaten could be picking fruits from bushes in Wilds and also clinging to walls with his tail. Honestly, Bishaten is perfect to me🤩🤩

    I really hope Wilds doesn’t impose restrictions on itself for the sake of feeling “grounded” or “realistic.” I personally think it would be a terrible design choice that risks Wilds falling into the same trap as World with the most boring weapon design in the series.
    However, I am optimistic they will not do this because the designs we’ve seen so far are much better than World’s and Congalala is a pretty hilarious monster to have.

    • @RathalosWatch
      @RathalosWatch  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@xander0901 grounded and more realistic monster hunter is the best version of Monster Hunter hands down. And they should 100% impose restrictions if they want to be consistent. Art style direction consistent is very important.
      Congalala is a realistic grounded Monster, it's a hippo mixed with a baboon. There is nothing easternized about him or inspired by Japanese mythos.
      He would never fit into Rise, for example, because it's a game that's more centered around Japanese culture. Monster Hunter Wilds is the polar opposite. I am not sure how that is difficult to understand, lol.

    I see absolutely no reason why a Japanese folklore inspired monster would be unfitting for Wilds. We already have a monster based on Spanish dancers with a rose for a butt. I think the execution of the inspiriation is more important than the inspiration itself in regards to keeping monsters grounded, and I'd say Bishaten executes it pretty well.

    9:02 personally i dont have much of a problem with some of rises more phantastical monsters returning.
    To me for most of rises original monsters the Japanese influence is not that in your face (notable exception Magnamalo) so they wouldn't feal that out of place so i could see monsters from rise like Tetranadon, Goss harag and Bishaten return in wild or a future title.
    Also i don't think Capcom will exclude a monster for being to crazy with tire design as we have seen monsters like Zinogre and Fatalis return in more naturalistic games like world.
    So if Capcom decides to being back a crazy but cool monster from rise or a nother past game its still going to be a heck of a time to hunt it regardless if its design may be a bit off the wall.

    • @RathalosWatch
      @RathalosWatch  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Fatalis is a classical European dragon though, and those tend to look far more realistic and grounded rather than something like Magnamalo. And on top of that Fatalis has been in the franchise since Monster Hunter in 2004. His kind of like the end-game boss flagship of the franchise. The ultimate bad guy.
      Zinogre is like an in between. I find him more fantasy rather than realistic, I think he is extremely overrated.

    I love this charming chimp, I would love to see him again but they don't have to rush it. My hope is just that, if he returns, that he gets a couple new fruit. At least by his next master rank incarnation.
    Wow, I don't think I saw either of those turf wars in my like 2000 hours of play time. The almodron one is kind of cool, rathalos' is a bit more basic.
    I really wish his subspecies was like a jungle version with different fruit effects. Make it something other than persimmons for visual flare and give him a set of different status ailments from them. Maybe even make him more colorful to suit the jungle aesthetic. BOB isn't terrible but he was a bit underwhelming, with how they cut his variety, he does have some fun new moves though.
    I would not categorize bishaten along with magnamalo, personally. I think bishaten is grounded enough to fit but I'd be fine with him taking a break as well.

    • @RathalosWatch

      Completely disagree. Doshaguma is a mix of a bear, lion, and molerat and is not tied to any kind of yokai inspiration. Rey Dau is a bit more fantastical, but still not based on a Japanese folklore that would be way out of the fit for Wilds.
      Balahara, believe it or nothas facial features of a calamari. Those blue little beads are it's like and calamari has exact same eyes as well. At the end of the day, it's a video game so of course they will have fantasy elements, but Wilds is far more believable than anything based on Rise.
