Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Cyclone, and Atom Smasher all showed off their power and character well in this movie. The JSA may have been the secondary heroes of the movie; however, they had a great intro for Black Adam. I hope they return.

Truly the only the issue in how they were portrayed comes from making a full on villain in the comics and 100% hero. Meaning his rivals even though they’re supposed to be the heroes are often in the wrong. So many times in the movie the JSA are considered the invaders or Hawkman’s leadership is undermined by them going with Black Adam’s plan

My favorite things about this film were Black Adam, Aldis in that aesthetically pleasing wardrobe, and Superman's cameo. I also enjoyed Atom Smasher and Viola's short performance, but Dr. Fate made a great addition to the ensemble rather than serving as the highlight of the movie.
I also dislike how easy it was for Waller to convince the JSA to work for her. There should’ve been at least mild antagonism between Carter & Waller due to her shady reputation.

One thing I liked is how they handled the diversity. Half the team is made up of black people, but nothing is made of it. They just happen to be black. I really liked that. Marvel could learn a thing or two in letting the actors make the characters their own, rather than making the characters race matter

What blows me away about this movie is that the so-called heroes know who black Adam is and know how old he is and from what era he’s from, time frame. So they go in there knowing that and instead of being respectful and introducing themselves and trying to create an open dialogue, they go in barking orders being rude and expecting him to just comply. And then they try to force him. I mean, who would listen to them?
