I used to be in a band signed with Columbia records. We played with these guys in del Mar Station in reno NV on their first tour. Chavo, the bass player, talked to me most cause we were on the same management before our big deals. Microcosm records. Facts. Coolest dudes ever. Glad to see then break through and shine for a while. And still.
I saw System of a Down live and I was upfront, the bands that played before them were awesome, but as soon as System played you can see an entire shift in energy, the crowd felt it and all I can really define it as is magical. System isn’t like any other band, they’re just special. The energy was wild during the crazier songs like Toxicity, Sugar, Ariels, Chop Suey but at one point the crowd embraced each other and danced in union with songs like Lonely Day, Lost in Hollywood and Radio/Video. I remember it got wild where two girls had passed out and had to get taken out, but it was an awesome experience that I will never forget and I intend to go back to another System show, they were just that good!
Man you brought a smile to my face watching you actually listening to the song and picking up the beat yourself. There is so much music from System of a Down cant wait for more reactions. Appreciate you keep your ears open..
I saw them live in a club in Cologne (germany), and yes. People are going crazy like having spasms. It was impossible to stay at one point, I was pushed around through the whole club, my buddy who was with me almost had a breakdown, so we had to leave the stage area before the end of the show, to get him something to drink. After 1 hour condensated sweat was dripping from the roof, yeah, a bit disgusting. At the end of the show they opened the doors, and we went outside and it looked like steam was coming out of the club. Yeah it was hot and sweaty. 😅
I seen System of a Down live more than any other band Except for Pantera. And system of a down live is very difficult to beat, performance, energy- you name it. It’s just an awesome show every time
Imagine being a young band with a sound nobody has and opening for SLAYER.... then imagine SLAYER fans.... then picture the band members of SLAYER side stage every night loving the show SOAD was laying down. These guys are intense in a very different way....
I’ve seen System of a Down at least 4 times! They put on an awesome show! And for the most part people at Rock concerts aren’t looking for problems jus th there to Rock out and have a good time! If you’ve never been in a mosh pit you need to! Best MoshPit I’ve ever been and was A Perfect Circle on mushrooms!
