Ill do better. What professional unemployed host affects the TH-cam:
He sits at the computer and wears a shirt and tie all day. No pants.
I was about to say the same 😂... But he seems to be good at his trade though

Also the perfect hair.
This channel is such a blessing, definitely a luxury we have to know from a drs perspective!
knowig the unicorn it's going to be bad or lead to another probably worse injury for him that will ruin his and celts playoffs
Knicks fan here! Its so sad to see KP injured again , i remember how sad i was when he dunked on giannis and had the ACL injury that was his final game with the knicks !
The way you reel off the analysis spontaneously, right off the top of your head, I think about how many times a day for how many years you have to do these evaluations to be this comfortable doing them. I don't love what doctors have to endure to become practicing specialists, but it's amazing, how they've seen variations on certain injuries or conditions in a clinical setting and explained them so many times, it's just bang bang bang, like a prepared case presentation. And the good doctors do it in a way that makes you feel like their only patient, because they really are paying attention and trying to tell you what's happening. Anyway, you really make it look easy.
Dang he just limped off the court a few minutes ago. You must have your camera setup during every game with one finger on the record button🤣🤣
Well..yea
@@BrianSuttererMD great work doc! I know who to call on the next time I need a sports medicine doctor. Last one charged me $600 just for a written report of an examination visit🫣😂
Lmao@@BrianSuttererMD
He’s obviously prerecorded every possible injury to every significant player.
It's a lot more revenue if he can take advantage of it early. A lot of successful creators are super hyper aggressive about timeliness to the point where it actually makes their content worse. I'm not saying that's what's going on here. I'm just saying as a matter of thumb.
I was following this person who made videos at the draft and Jesus. He must have posted a hundred videos in 2 days like almost every team he made like a 4-minute video for it.
Honestly, it was some of the lowest effort content I've ever seen
Dr Brian thank you for how quickly you make and upload the videos. Truly amazing.
Non-contact injuries are scary.
Everything about this one screams Achilles tear. I wonder if teams are just not being honest about these injuries anymore.
The quickest doctor ever lol
This earned a sub. Soon as I saw the injury I knew I could count on an upload and explanation from you
Hopefully KP recovers we need him for a championship run!!!!
Prayers for a quick recovery. We need you 😭
Appreciate all you do Brian.
Hoping the best for Porzingis. Always sad for great players who are prone to injury.
Doc is spot on for the most part 😊
This man is incredible! First-time watch equals longtime follower 💯
Nice video! I’m taking the mcat on Saturday and u are a huge inspiration doc!
Good luck bro
Best of luck to you!
Good luck
Came wondering if KP popped his achilles, left flabbergasted at one man's ability to put up on-the-fly network quality production to TH-cam in mere minutes
Praying he has a quick recovery
Thanks for the video.
Great job Doctor !

watching these videos always makes my body hurt...LOL Good Work Doc
He was already limping in the possessions leading up to the injury. Thats tuff for him hope he gets better
They should have taken him off
@@Fantabiscuithe twisted his left ankle a few plays earlier and this injury was to his right leg so I think it is unrelated. However when I was watching the game I was also thinking that they should’ve taken him out when he rolled his ankle at first but realized that he twisted his left ankle and then hurt his right leg.
@@fredfredericksonif he was playing in a bad left ankle he was for sure compensation a lot with the right leg, that for sure made things worse, he may have over used his calf/Achilles to not put too much force in his left leg
@@luizansoundsyou are probably 100% right! I‘m a huge KP fan and I already knew when the stream started and I saw KP with one leg sleeve on and tape on both calfs that something isn’t quite right.
Then he tweaked his ankle in game which probably led to him overusing the „fleshly healed“ right calf which already was sleeved up
@@luizansounds Exactly - I'm a little surprised that @BrianSuttererMD didn't include this in his otherwise swift and valuable analysis.
Goog detailed analysis Doc!!!
Thank you for explaining! Hopefully it’s not as serious as you suspect… We need Porzingis!
Bros the Adam Scheffter of sports injuries ☠️
Doc is fast, impressive
Knicks Fan Here. My feelings. Feel bad for the kid. He just can't seem to get a break!
Dr. Sutterer what microphone do you use for filming? Thanks for the succinct video as always
Doctor is quick with the analysis, and there’s honestly nothing better considering we only get wish washy updates and he actually breaks down what is happening in that specifics player’s body when the injury occurs.
What's wild is doctor has been doing this for a few years, has great analysis, and pulls views...but the NBA hasn't really seemed to explore adding this type of segment to the game.
I love also how Brian describes what tests can be done by the staff to verify what has been reported and also why he thinks sometimes what they say (or don't) is BS
@@cheetah219 Honestly, I didn’t even know that or even think about it. I think Doc’s videos have been showing up on my timeline because I’ve been watching the NBA playoffs frantically and just seeing the unfortunate/mistimed injuries that tilt a series one way versus the other.
@@cheetah219 if I was to take a wild guess, probably NBA bureaucracy wouldn’t want it because it would bruise the ego of certain team medical staff if they got medical diagnosis incorrect or if the doctor was stating what treatment needs to be performed following an injury and then the team would either have the player still be active or rush him back way too soon and then get reinjured. Medical industry is deceitful nowadays
Doc. How would a partial tear present itself on the "calf test" that you mentioned? Could a partial tear return a normal result, only to be confirmed as an achilles tear via imaging?
awaiting that AD shoulder bump video 🤣🤣
He already put that one out. It was sponsored by Charmin.
Love this analysis. The way their team is set up, this could mean the championship.
Man, I was hopeful with the statement and now you're making me worry doc
Thank you. I hope you and your family are well and that you’re getting the rest you need ❤
Hey Doc! as an afraid celtics fan... what is the possible timeline for the unicorn? also, you are such a legend, i knew you would come out with a vid quickly after this happened :)
can’t say a timeline without a diagnosis
6 to 8 months buddy , its over bud.
@richboy7414 You know nothing clown.
Hes out until the finals If it's not too serious. If it's nothing he's back in a week. If it's what we all fear it's over 8 months
That’s about the same situation with Giannis, and he hasn’t played in almost a month. The best thing that can happen to Giannis is to get eliminated tonight so that he doesn’t have to rush his return to an already almost lost season.
With the increases in non-contact injuries, what do you think makes one more vulnerable to such injuries? Is it a lack of conditioning or fitness? Not eating right or sleeping right? What would you do to prevent the non-contact injuries? Stretching properly?
Asking as somebody who coaches young sports teams and is seeking potential advice from a respected expert voice.
👀👀 now waiting for the AD injury, should be uploaded any minute now now 😂
Team released a statement saying they don't believe it is an Achilles injury, and like you said it would be immediately obvious (to the team) if it was. More imaging today so hopefully that confirms it, but we'll likely see an extended rest period for KP, which I'm sure the Heat/Bucks/Pacers aren't too upset about.
The playoff doctor has officially arrived
I want to know about Shohei's Surgery and what the difference was between his surgery and Tommy John please!! Thank you always for such fun videos!
W doc!!!!!
When the final tendon fibres disconnect, that's when Brian hits Upload😂
Hey doc, any advice for an aspiring sports med DO? Im currently a sophomore at the university of maryland and playing lacrosse here while being pre-med. I'd love to get into a career path similar to yours! Any advice?
IIRC it was his left calf that bothered him in the regular season so its not likely a reaggravation. Hope for him and the Celtics that it's just a minor strain. They're gonna need him to go all the way.
Wishing porzingis a speedy recovery! Are calf sleeves effective if you have calf pain?
Celtics have said there will be an MRI but the expectation I think based on the initial reporting is it's precautionary along with the boot on the foot post game. Sounds like a Mild Strain but they will likely hold him out for the remainder of the Miami series to play it safe
For healing could peptides or stem cells improve healing time and adhesion?
They call me a mad man for always saying that these injuries are very very common when they lower the heel on the backfoot to push off. Doing the back step to push off it must be trained to do it using only the forefoot. Drop the heel and the tendon will be over stretched. Don't drop your heels on back foot pushoff.
Pure speculation, I love it.
Can you make a video on the AD injury? I know the series is over but that seem like a light bump from MJP yet in the press conference interview AD said he couldn’t feel anything from his neck to his hand. You could see he was in a lot of pain and couldn’t move around his left arm much
Thanks Doc!
What's up with Luka's knee?
What a hatrick 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Glass Man
Sometimes your achilles just snaps.
its crazy how weak the achilles can be sometimes...or maybe the body generates so much power in a instant that Achilles cannot stand it
yeah it does 😞
@@PhonkEchothe Achilles is the strongest tendon of the body
@@user-xl4tp5ef1w only when you eat your vegetables everyday.
@@user-xl4tp5ef1w Its also the only tendon that can get torn randomly while you are just lifting your foot to jump. Like how people sprain their back when sneezing. The human body is mysterious sometimes
Hi Dr. Sutterer. At about 45 seconds into your video you froze it and described the mechanism. I always try to fully grasp your outstanding analyses on these sports injuries. In this view it looked as though Kristaps was on the balls of his feet, which I thought was an indication of plantar flexion. You said that he was in dorsi flexion, but your verbal description did not seem to match what I saw. Of course, with you being the expert, and me being a subscriber with an active texting finger and no qualifications, I am the one missing something. Thank you for what you do in helping us sports fans understand more about sports injuries.
You’re that guy now doc
Any update on Jalen Brunson’s game 2 injury?
They need this dide at all halftime shows
Poor Zingus...
😂
Damn that's too good😂
Tingus Pingus
please don't do him like that, his name is Pingus (Tingus)
one does not simply see what you did there
The Doctor is in. Real quick too lol
There is a lot of Calf and Achilles injuries as of late. Someone should do a Documentary on Gravity or the lower leg injuries. ( just a suggestion )
With injuries like this, u have to be ultra careful. Especially with tall lengthy guys like Kristaps.
I pulled my calf last week doing this exact same movement except playing soccer. Felt a pop. luckily not and achilles injury, but a bad pull
Poor Zingis :(
Imagine stubbing your toe and seeing Dr. Sutterer put out a video detailing your injury.
Could you do a video on Payton Wilson how he's able to play football without an acl.
This is huge.
What about a tendon pull or tear in the sole of his left foot? Perhaps a result of his reaction to tweaking his right ankle on what looked like stepping awkwardly on Herro's heel at the other end of the floor?
Hey Doc who you got in the finals?
Gah damn it I wanted to see him go crazy this playoffs
KP non contact injury, right on schedule for him 👍🏿
I Hope Bro :Recoverd
He got hurt a couple plays before though and was trying to play through it. Hoping hes not out for the year we need him to get banner 18.
Yeah this could be bad. Even a calf strain he’s still out for a couple weeks at best. Giannis has the same injury and I think the Celtics will down play the injustice just like the bucks are down playing Giannis injury.
The modern athletic shoe inhibits strength building capabilities in the foot that can counteract/reduce risk of injury here. How many times do we have to see this same moi before we change?
Can you make a bkfc video reacting to the night they had like 3 freak accidents that stopped some fights it was weird
Is there anything to do to prevent this?
Something happened a few plays before did that have anything to do with it?
dr, can you talk about William Gomis weighing in ? He looked absolutely terrible, could barely walk, and nearly collapsed stepping up to the scale. . To makes things even worse, he came in at 143 with clothes, so a bit more" and all he needed was to be was 146
DOC PLEASE TELL ME WILL HE MAKE THE FINALS
When you have one injury to one side of the leg, you start overcompensating, and then it starts on the other side of the leg
He has a sleeve on that right calf too
Most likely not a Achilles injury because they would’ve already announced it from the beginning…
You don’t need an MRI to figure out if you pop your Achilles. You know right away if you did
I'm subscribing simply because you and that other doctor in the comments called Joel Embiid's Bell Palsy
What's up Doc? Couldn't help myself. His left leg was the troublesome one but the right leg obviously was bothering him, I e.the black stocking. Hoping for a miracle but from what you said it doesn't look good.
As a Celtics fan this is devastating.😭😭😭
You knew it was bound to happen. He is made out of glass. He missed 1/3rd of the regular season with various ailments.
Do you have any idea what happened to AD because I was so dang confused
Ah man... Hope he'll be fine for nyk matchup.
in game 3:13 on the time table before this sprain his ankle can be related with this incident
Update on latest video doc?
I know when mine ruptured it felt like someone threw a big rock at me or shot me. It was absolutely terrible. 45 min surgery and months of rehab. Still not 100% two years later
Every injury prone player is injured during the playoffs but people want you to believe it's all just random injuries
Playing harder
That’s the reality. Ben Simmons was getting 3 different shots a day(steroids, local numbing, and opioids) for his back in his last series in Philly. But, the narrative was only about him being “not aggressive enough.”
Just have to look at Embiid *right now* to see how much NBA teams care about an Asset’s/player’s medium & long term health. They can just trade him next year if this nerve injury stays with him, and suddenly SAS/Skip are calling Embiid a bust, or that he has no heart.
The sneakers to begin with...
Everyone plays harder in the postseason. More stress on the body for longer durations.
Porzingis is made out of glass
He was injured the offensive play before this as well. You can see him limping back on defense, then he comes down the floor on this play. Never a good sign when you injure one leg (ankle) then injure the other next play.
They examined him in the locker room and said it doesn't appear to be the Achilles he is having MRI tomorrow
We are witnessing the *effects of Mountain Dew changing our muscles durability 5-15 years later*
I'm not a bb fan, so I'm assuming that your joking about the mountain dew comment?? If not, how does mountain dew affect his calf muscle area, aside from md just not being good for you in general??
@@alspencer3826 yes, it was a joke.

@@ohokayofficial Ah...I gotcha! Like I said, I'm not much of a bb fan, so I thought I missed something. As for the bad modern day diet, I completely understand what your talking about. Thanks for getting back to me.
