How do you play the little solo at 1:57? I can play the rest, but that part just kicks my ass. That little style is also in Medusa, and I can play all of that song except for that part of the solo as well. If you could give me tips that'd be great, I tried googling it but nothing comes up for "how to play the solo in Medusa/Braille"

Josh Morgan . thicker strings are usually better to use in drop tunings .like I use Ernie ball cobalt 12 gauge tho only thing is that thicker strings tend to rust easier
bro please give us a lesson ive been trying to get the legato lines to sound like triplets like you do for the intro of the song thats like the only thing i dont get
+John Morgan I use some Zakk Wylde strings, not sure what the thickness is, but the tone sounds really clean if you are good enough to play quickly with heavy strings.
