I think the fandom of Oli is the thing that overshadows Lee and the rest of the band, he's one of a beast a guitarist and deserves more recognition than he receives but then again they've been using him less and less.

I think Oli's aware that Lee is becoming more and more "bored" with their new music, he gets to play easier stuff everytime (as a musician, I know how frustrating it is). And that's why in Ludens he gave Lee the chance to shine back just as in their latest albums, and I hope that gives us a clue of what they might be doing on their next album(s)

Lee is an excellent guitarist with incredible tone. He wrote and played some amazing riffs on those early albums. Now days he's just an afterthought, and it sucks to see. He needs to form his own band and get back to what he was put here to do. There I said it.
I can say I Used To Make Out With Medusa was the song that really got me into playing. Never really felt it until I learnt that song, then I just got right into it.

BMTH still use guitar riffs in their more pop rock songs. They just use a electric / dance guitar thing so his still playing guitar but it sounds poppy. Make sense? Also all of the concerts of BMTH they play like MANTRA and Wonderful life from their new album, A majority of their songs were from Sempiternal and That’s the spirit. I wished they played more from There’s a Heaven/Hell but the comedown is a classic he always plays. I think in the future their gonna be more experimental with their guitar.
