That’s a beautiful huge home. I agree that the owners neglected the care of this home. I really hope they salvage as much as they can from this house. The staircase in particular is awesome. Great video James.
OH Static Spaces you are always so funny. Creative as heck too. It is always sad to see these homes go but when money talks it talks. Another great explore JH. Big Hugs 😊😊
That house has my dream kitchen!!! I could fill those huge cabinets up with all of my small kitchen appliances lol. Love the fireplaces but cant stand that they were converted to gas. The floors were gorgeous. I love that they actually used colors throughout, the master bath was definitely the best color of the house, must've been so relaxing sitting in the tub. Great video James - and as always, i love your sense of humor.
I think only the one in the front room may have been converted, the double fireplace at the back was still wood burning. I knew there would be a few people that would like that kitchen! And I agree, it was nice to see some colour in that house too. Glad you enjoyed it Kathy and thanks very much for your comment!!
Another great time capsule from the past, I really like all the flooring throughout this home the tile and hardwood floors. I love fireplaces with real wood nothing better than that heat well, I think. Bag of bags funny to see them, here in Oregon there are a few places that still have them, but you pay 5-10 cents per bag which I will pay I can always reuse them. Thanks for another great walk about with this place can't wait for the next one.
I really like the real fireplaces too, sure has is easier but not the same at all. That's why I mentioned the bags, out brilliant PM decided to make them illegal, so my stash has been slowly dwindling which I reuse for all kinds of useful things. So now I literally will have to go to buy garbage (garbage bags) and pay way more than the reusable 5¢ ones that were used several times. As you can tell, I'm not too happy about that. Lol Glad there is someone else that sees that side of things. Glad you enjoyed the video Polly and thank you very much for your comment!!
Oh, I missed another Premiere, even if you did it at a early time. But yeah, another nice house of this whole place. Too bad that there was again water in the basement. And I read, it's the last one, let's see, what your next location will be. Nice hat at the beginning and funny outtakes.
Don't worry, you didn't miss the premiere, I didn't do one for this video...I was trying out a different approach to the release of this video to see how it affects the views...it didn't seem to work very well so far. Yes, unfortunately, this is the last house in this series, I'm kind of sad about that. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks so much for your comment!!
Hi James! That was a new look for you in the intro 😂 I liked this one. I always like and find it interesting how the original decor from the decade a house was built or moved into is still in situ. You don’t see many houses that are lived in with valances like those anymore. It’s interesting to see. Well I suppose older people who lived in a house for decades kept the decor as it was so it’s not that much of a surprise. These houses aren’t much older than my parents’ house. It’s terrible what’s happening to the world. All these vintage houses being wiped out for more modern builds with no character. It’s terrible. But they make for great videos though! Thanks for the video!
I don't really understand this obsession with considering decor dated once it is 10-20 years old, it should be celebrated. Glad you liked the hat 😂. Happy you enjoyed this one Stephanie and thanks a lot for your comment!!
Nice hat!!!!! I would love to have that huge kitchen!!!! It was a beautiful house. I’m not sure about the purpose of the reflective strips though in the room with the fireplace? The staircase was beautiful too!!! Love the hardwood floors ❤. You miss plastic bags? Can’t wait for the next adventure!!!! Be safe!! Pam❤
Yes, those reflective strips were really odd to see, I can understand them on the stairs but everywhere else seemed like overkill. Canada banned plastic bags a couple years ago and I used to reuse them for everything, from dirty clothes to dirty exploring shoes to garbage...so yes, I miss them 😂 Glad you enjoyed it Pam and thanks a lot for your comment!!
This Static Space is way cool James! I’m just sorry that the whole neighborhood is gone now and just a memory. I ask you James why do they take perfectly good houses and demolish them in Canada? It’s all just a waste of a good house. That kitchen was to die for. So large and nice counter space. Another thing I don’t understand is why do people leave so much stuff. They probably figure the house is going to get demolished so what the heck. They left a lot of stuff including the clothes hangers. I never seem to have enough. Too bad about the basement being flooded I would have liked to see what was down there. Just another beautiful house reduced to rubble. The whole neighborhood reduced to rubble.😢 James you did a great job showing us around and I thank you for sharing. Stay safe and well.👍🆒
So we are going through a population boom right now due to immigration and subsequently have a housing shortage. The problem is that everyone wants to move to this area and maybe one other in the country, and since this area is already pretty much fully developed, they have to densify the already built areas. There just isn't a lot of empty land left to be developed. It's a shame to see nice neighborhoods like this go. Glad you enjoyed it Irene and thanks a lot for your comment!!
Great video, thanks James. The house is nice but I found it a bit underwhelming, not the kind of house I would buy. The highlight were the nice ceiling fixtures, the room with the wainscotting which I think is the dining room and the kitchen (I love lots of storage and counter space). The room with the fireplace looks like a family room to me. The basement swimming pool was sad but to be expected when the sump pump is shut off.
Ya, these homes were more about the large lots they were on. Homes in the 80s were generally more conservation that the way they are now. I just really liked how almost everything here was original plus, it had some great hardwood and the brick fireplaces! Glad you enjoyed it though Carol and thanks a lot for your comment!!
Oops, sorry about that, you can see the other half in the reflection of the mirror though. Oh, a comment on both tubs, you sure like bathtubs! Thanks very much for your comment!!

Pretty home! Some nice details! Like the hard wood floors and the fireplaces! Thank you for the explore!
Oh ya, all that hardwood in there and the brick fireplaces were great. Thank you very much for your comment!!
Rocking the hat Mr Static, In the beginning. Ty 4 the vid. Love the outtakes!

Belle maison ! Beautiful hat ! 😂
Merci beaucoup James !
Hahaha. Merci beaucoup Xavier!!
1:19 Hey you should have walked out of the bathroom and got i candid surprise when realized the show had started! Your intro skits are jems
Haha, that's another way I could have done it, for sure. Thank you very much for your comment and glad you enjoy the comedic intros and outros!!

Hello James 👋it’s sad to see the basement flooded though and thank you for sharing 😁I really enjoyed the video 👍❤️😎
Ya, I was really disappointed it was flooded and even more so that I forgot my boots and couldn't show it to you all!
That is okay James at least the rest of the house wasn’t flooded 😂
It's not though, I really wanted to know what was down there! 😂
LOL James me too 😆🤣😂😅

@@StaticSpacesYou are very welcome ❤❤ I totally understand about the plastic bags😂 I reuse them all the time 😊.
Flower curtains doesn't work with stripes on the wall but each to their own.
Ya, that room was definitely a bit out there but what matters is that Jasmine liked it. Thank you very much for your comment!!

Hi James
Hi Helen, hope you enjoyed the tour of the house and thanks a lot for your comment!!
@StaticSpaces it was good very good
7:02 You only showed the back of the tub, come on show us the whole tub. 14:56 Nice deep tub.
Oops, sorry about that, you can see the other half in the reflection of the mirror though. Oh, a comment on both tubs, you sure like bathtubs! Thanks very much for your comment!!
@@StaticSpaces I do, love soaking in them.
