Hey I have an issue with my dodge charger same year as this one when put the brake the right side both bulbs turn on . It supposed that it just one bulb have to turn on when braking . Thanks
In my 2011 Dodge Challenger, I got a check engine light with the code PCM: P0572 and that lead me to knowing that I needed to replace my Brake switch component. This video helped explain the locked/unlocked state the Brake Light switch, and also demonstrated nicely that you need to decompress the brake pedal to install the new one. Thanks for the help.
I think I might have switch mine out too cuz whenever I step on the brake and release it the brake lights stays on and I have to lift the brake pedal with my foot so they can turn off and it does it too when I close my door when I step out of the car,but it didn't give me that code it gave you it gave me p0562 but my batter and alternator good but it probably gave me tht code cuz my car died cuz the brake lights stayed on the whole night and didn't realize. I'm hoping it's nothing major.
So would this be the corpit for my issue? I have the same wxact model car......I press on the break pedal and the lights work but the 3rd break light stays on constantly.
My 09 Charger Pursuits steering wheel is locked in park and will only release by pressing the little release button under the dash. Could this switch be a possible culprit to my issue? Thanks
