I am a 48 year old dude just got into archery hunting living in TN with the goal when I started 3 years ago was a DIY OTC elk hunt in CO. Although not filling my tag this past September, I had some cool hunting moments during and learned a lot on the ground. Yes the land is vast and can be overwhelming espcecially being solo like I was, if I hadn't got an Insider account and used some of your informational videos on E-scouting it would have been much more daunting. Looking forward to this coming season and putting more effort into scouting. You all are awesome keep them coming!

Well done video. Good work. I prefer the base camp/spike camp system. This system gets me into those areas away from populated areas which cuts down on hunting pressure. From the base camp I can arrive a few days early to acclimatize to the elevation and weather and base camp also serves as a resting/reapply point between the 3-5 days backcountry pack/spike camp. Setting up base camp the first thing upon arrival also helps with acclimatization.
Every video I see Brady and he looks exactly the same. Neville on the other hand… he’s got a different facial hairstyle every couple days. 😂 Nothing but pure respect for these studs... but I haven’t seen the Fu Manchu style yet, Neville! Make it happen. If they’re coming just to tag along/gain experience/haul meat, there is no requirement. Just ensure the non-tag holder doesn’t have a weapon so it can’t be construed that they are attempting to hunt without a tag.
Hey Aaron, I also got an Idaho NR elk tag, specifically for the Sawtooth zone. Coming from WI. First archery elk hunt. Grabbed the tag and now trying to find a partner to hunt with.
We like to bribe or non-tag holding friends with the reward of some meat from the hunt if successful and it seams to work pretty good, best of luck in Idaho!
You guys crushed it - it is that simple. The only thing you forgot to do is tell these poor people how much of their life will be consumed by steps 2 and 3. 😂🤣
I don't know if I'm using the date filter incorrectly within Filtering 2.0 or if it's busted, but I'm looking for early season opportunities and when I put in date ranges of beginning of August to middle of September, it tells me there's no matches. Any thoughts on what might be going on? And yes, I am looking in states that I know for a fact have plenty of early season opportunities
Hey Alvaro, It looks you may be filtering by 2022 dates. The western states are beginning to roll out their 2022 regulations, and while we do have some states updated on INSIDER others are still showing 2021 season dates. Wish everyone would quit teaching the out of staters to hunt in someone else's back yard. It's getting really old. It's a great way for locals to quit hunting.
