Alot of things is different in the manga. Like for example the world tries to karate chop star platinum. In manga the world jump towards the side of star platinum and then tries to chop it but in the anime all the world did is just jump up to avoid the kicks and then chop. Star platinum does a 360 spin in the anime but in manga it didn't.
I really like the "it feels like it's five seconds" quote because it says that even though time stop lasts five seconds, these are not five seconds in a regular sense.

Plus, in the future parts, time stop's whole 'seconds' thing is explained as being more of a feel of five seconds rather than literally that specific amount of time. I think it's kinda like breathing underwater: you tense up your muscle and hold it for as long as you possibly can, but simply talking to yourself doesn't wear it down, only moving and doimg stuff does. TL;DR In timestop talking is a free action
