  • Great QB play is highly correlated with winning games, BUT, what if a team won every single game with terrible QB play? In this video I look at the worst winning performances by QB's in NFL history for each game number of the season (game #1 to game #16) and 3 playoff rounds (Divisional, Conference Championship, Super Bowl) to reach the absolute worst perfect season imaginable.

      Part of me is tired of hearing that the Broncos are bad, at this point we all know, but I enjoy hearing just how historically bad the teams offense is even more. There are some teams with incredibly bad offenses and defenses, that are just some of the worst teams of all time, but the Broncos defense is so good that it just allows their offense so many opportunities to display just how shitty they are, its almost unbelievable. That TNF with the Colts is legitimately one of the worst games I've ever watched, its one thing to have 2 bad teams play a boring game, but 2 teams that were supposed to be division winners playing that badly is incredible

    The fact that the 2000 Ravens didn’t score any TDs for 21 straight quarters and they won 2 of the games in question tells you all you need to know about the Ravens legendary defense. It also says all you need to know about Tony Banks and Trent Dilfer.

    • @nathanielcoleman5694
      @nathanielcoleman5694 ปีที่แล้ว +5

And after going four straight games without a touchdown, they finally opened their eyes and found out that Banks wouldn’t do jack shit in the playoffs. Dilfer increased the streak to five but their QB change proved successful as they won it all. But yeah the Ravens with even a guy like Mitch Trubisky would’ve won at least 2 Super Bowls

Darnold played incredibly poorly in this miserable 10-7 win over the new Orleans Saints. he completed 5 of his 15 pass attempts for 43 yards while taking two sacks for -11 yards for a passer rating of 2.8 and an ANY/A of -0.867 (i had to calculate because i couldn't find it for the game cuz it finished two hours ago if i think about this comment and it has enough likes i'll edit it) becoming the first starting quarterback since 2006 to win a game with a passer rating of lower than 3.0. despite adding 32 yards on six attempts but the carolina defense allowed seven points on new orlean's nine drives and carolina racked up 171 yards on the ground despite losing top running back D'onta Foreman early in the third quarter to ejection for fighting, likely due to frustration from how pathetic darnold's performance was (no offense to men who dont last long).

    Okay, for a team to achieve this abomination of a season they would need a number 1 defense, number 1 running game, number 1 special teams with Justin Tucker as the kicker, Bill Belichick or Mike Ditka, the Steelers ownership, and Jim McMahon as the quarterback

    as a bears fan this pains me. all the bears needed was a good qb and they’d maybe have a ring or two in the last 20 years

    I like to think that each QB just does so ass each game that they get released and replaced, only for the next QB to do just as bad.

      That was a week 13 game, and while he attempted only three passes, he completed two of them, and his passer rating is 84 for that game.
      Extremely low volume, especially by contemporary standards, but not a terrible game either.

    I’m happy to see the Bears on there so much but surprised not to see Brady in it. I thought for sure his second SB win against the Rams would take the cake

    Surprised Christian Ponder didn't get a mention. Week 10, 2012 vs the Cardinals: 8 for 17 for 58 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT, sacked 3 times, rating of 35.5, and carried to a win by father of the century Adrian Peterson. Not as bad as the ones in the video but Ponder was so bad it was almost funny to watch

    Wow. I thought Derek Anderson's 2009 win with the Cleveland Browns over Buffalo would be on here. In that game, he completed 2 of 17 passes for 23 yards and an interception. I guess it still wasn't bad enough. Very interesting list.

      Ahhh.....Dave Krieg, Mr. Fumble At The Worst Possible Fucking Moments (look up his fumble stats). You zoomed in on the wrong body part, shoulda focused on those tiny weak hands that released the ball from aerodynamic effects of a defender getting anywhere near him. He was like Favre with even higher bad int's and much worse fumble stats.
