I'm 13 and I am a pretty good snowboarder, my baby brother is 2 and he started snowboarding very recently. Your kid reminds me so much of my baby brother ROAN! Their names are pretty similar to, I think the reason I like watching these videos so much is because he reminds me of my brother. Great videos!

Roman is blessed to start early at a young age. I didn't start Skiing until I was 12. My parents have always been supportive of everything I do, skiing was something they encouraged and put on me graciously. It's great that you are bringing snowboarding into his life slowly and steadily. At a much younger age it gives you more time to progress him properly. At 12 I was far behind friends and kids my own age, I always had that drive to keep up, progress and match up to those ahead of me. I didn't progress traditionally as those who put in the years, I had Natural talent and it clicked for me. I snowboarded for 5 years in between as a challenge. I was a pretty talented Boarder as well. Snowboarding helped me a lot with being a better person, my skills improved greatly, and I had a deeper appreciation for snowboarders. Keep up with the awesome content Bro, I love watching your content, and I hope Roman is progressing well.

on snow after 20 years I am working on getting my legs strong and "air

Why don’t people in American resorts use the safety bar? Never quite understood it.
I assume you mean the lift bar( I just started the video) but idk it just doesn’t feel necessary most of the time with the newer lifts. The old ones I would feel more comfortable having a bar down cause they are so open and kinda scary but the new ones I am firmly planted on so I don’t feel the need to use it

Took the leash off my five year old yesterday and spent the day toppling down the hill. Making the falling fun pays dividends not just here, but in life. He ahd a couple of end over ends yesterday, and he got up laughing every time.

A Basin. Wow.... I don’t think your parents were old enough to have kids the last time I hit that slope. This brings back memories of dragging my little ones down the slopes of Mammoth decades ago. Roman is the cutest little kid with the best attitude I’ve ever seen for anyone just leaning. Especially at that altitude....I’d stroke out trying to get down that hill today, much less have a good attitude......

Great job going to the effort to get Roman on the snow, it takes 3 times as long than going alone, but in 2-3 seasons he'll be ripping around the mountain. I have twin 7 year olds and a nine year old and went through the same process with all 3, now they tear up the whole mountain. You are 100% right, #1 priority, make it super fun every time so he wants to me back!
