I really love this set! However, at my age (73) I would really appreciate a complete written row count. The back and forth between colors I get mixed up. I’ve tried writing the row counts but when I look at them it’s not correct. I understand if you don’t want to do this because it’s probably so labor intensive. But thank you again for your well done video. You have lots of great patterns and ideas. 😊
@@cathydrews2644 so sorry, but I do not have written patterns. However, if you look at the description below the video and scroll down to the bottom, there is a transcript of what I am saying.
@@theresakratschmer9636 why would I need to use waste yarn? When you cinch the ends closed all you need is a draw string cast on and cast off. You only need waste yarn on a project when you want to close an end with a flat edge. The waste yarn helps you to see the stitches on the project so you can close them in your desired way. Check out my beanie playlist. I have one beanie there with a flat edge. That one needed waste yarn.
@ I made my first hat last night and before I received my machine I watched all these videos about the benefits of waste yarn. Gets rid of curl and is so easy to cast off. But I understand what you are saying. Live and learn. Thanks for the response. I love your videos!
@ I’m glad it helped. Waste yarn does nothing to prevent curl. It just holds the stitches so you can see them better to apply a second stitch or seam that will help prevent a curl. Keep watching. You will learn. 🥰
The problem I have is different yarns will give me different lengths. I usually do 120 for a beanie. Depending on the yarn the brim could end up thinner or wider. Frustrating at times.
Looks great, I’m in awe of how you workout your patterns. They always come out so well. I like the 140 hat size as it is a nice brim, would you say it is 90 for say one colour including the brim, then you can start to pattern stripes? Can never work it out.
Excellent tutorial! The result was fantastic!

Shelley help..lol I want to make this in red and white only...how should I color coordinate the rows? Thank you!
@@sabrinahewick1224 sketch out the rows and then fill in the colors where you think it looks nice.
Love the pattern! How much of a difference would there be if I made the beanie with the Sentro 48 instead of 46 Addi? Thank you.
@@TandraDee4321 not much. Anything I make on the 46 needle can be mane on the 48 needle instead.

Just curious why you didn’t use waste yarn on the beanie. Do you have any videos showing how to finish a reversible beanie with waste yarn?

When crochet the scarf ends, I noticed you pick up from the back loop instead of front loop to close the ends. Does it make a difference?
