😊😊hi Shelley. I absolutely love Heartland yarn as you do! It’s my #1 favorite. Haven’t tried the latte cakes yet so I’ll have to try it. I’ve made several of your 2 color and striped toques with Heartland. I joined a crochet-a-long and used it to make squares for a blanket. Works up so nice. Thanks so much for your channel, your expertise and your generous free patterns! Also, I just have to say that Manitoba holds a special place in my heart: I lived in Winnipeg many years ago now when I was attending Success Business School. I lived out close to Polp Park. My mom was born and raised in Moosehorn MB (Interlake District), and I have two cousins who live in Beausejour. I’m from Ontario but have lived in the States for a while now. O Canada, my home and native land! Again Shelley, thanks for all you do for us.❤️&✌️🇨🇦🇺🇸 Valerie
@@Valerie-tu4rp We were just visiting the USA. Spent a week at Wilmington Beach. Beautiful area.
Thank you for the comment. Nice to hear from a fellow Canadian. 🇨🇦
🙀 WOW Shelley ❤this is gorgeous! I love the way you put the colors together. I bought 2 skeins of Great Smokey Mountain months ago - thank you for the inspiration - can’t wait to try it. 🤣🤣I like Hallmark movies too! Just watched "Home alone 2". 😂😂 Enjoy the movie. Enjoy your week GF.
@@Helens.crochet.389 hi Helen!
Thank you! Send me pictures of what you make with it.
Beautifully illustrated Shelley. Thank you. You are an excellent teacher of this method of fair isle on circular knitting machine. Love it!

Thank you for your tutorials. I think you did a spiral hat I have made, but messed up ended with two (what I call) Harry Potter’s lighting bolt. Can’t wait to try this one in a scarf & hat. Thank you again.
@@faydurocher2475 you are very welcome! Give the spiral one another try. It takes a bit of practice.

Beautiful
@@ProgramPat I appreciate that!
❤that fair isle is gorgeous. Reminds me of a fair isle sweater i hand knitted back in 1993 i like the colors you used. Great job. I agree about row counts. Thats cheap when people share that. Thats your gild right there. I live your vids. I got a sentro after using the ol stand by for years if i was able to sit up to the machine. My spine gives me fits.
Well im gonna try. Not same colors at all in my head. I want to try the ribbed as well. Years ago i tried it on my old machine . do you think i remembered the safety line???
Ps get a latch tool for going back up it goes faster than a crochet hook. Keep on knitting. Great stuff your putting out.
@@onnaaddis7983 thank you for tour comment! I appreciate it.
I actually have a couple latch hooks. I’ve just never tried them. Maybe I will now! 😊
I need to learn this!
@@joankeckstein4246 you can do it!
It’s a beautiful pattern and you are a fantastic teacher. I love your videos. I started this hat and messed up somewhere so will start it all over as I do love the way the fair isle was looking. Did you need to untwist your yarn after a few rows? Mine kept getting very twisted! That was kind of a pain!
@@marbrown914 I have to put one ball in the center of the machine or it does twist.
Thanks, Shelley! Will give that a try. It’s hard to fix dropped stitches once I get to fair isle rows. I get too confused!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks, Shelley. Will try again, hopefully no dropped stitches this time. Hard to fix with the fair isle rows, it gets too confusing for me!
@@marbrown914 and for me. Lol
@@koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet After starting over and getting to almost the end of the fair isle part, I discovered a dropped stitch. Don't think I can fix this one. Are there any tricks? I can't tell which stitch is which. I'm beginning to think this is beyond my skill level.
Where do you order yr yarn? They have nothing hardly in our stores. Now, I LOVE THIS!!!
@@veejackson1554 I get it from Michaels.
Beautiful. Thanks for the tutorial?
@@dianathefiberfan your welcome!

😮❤❤❤❤
I have a question I have a 44 stitch innovations just two stitches less than your machine will this work?
After the second row of black and grey patterning, the video repeats a section so 24:37 and 20:18 are the same
@@babbit5443 really ? Oh no! I will check. Thank you.
I appreciate so much that you told me! I was able to fix it.
I need this in a pattern

@@KleintoonseBreiwinkel Thank you!
Would you warn against making it longer to 140 rows to have a brim. I want to make this for my daughter-in-law but she lives in North Pole Alaska and I need think could use the extra brim to keep her ears warm. Would it look bad making it longer for a brim
@@bullethead67ful it would be beautiful!
